1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland Chic Line clothing, shoe, and wig database - Useable vs. REALLY FITS

May 18, 2010

    1. I've found this thread really helpful, so I'm adding a few shoes for your chic wardrobe :)

These shoes are all from Facets, fit well and also work fine for standing poses.

Pin dot buckle shoes - red. Good fit, uses a real buckle, one buckle was flipped but works ok.

Slingbacks - pink sequin. Good fit, but 'sequins' starting to fall off already. I'd recommend solids if you handle your doll often.

Knee high laceup boots - red snakeskin. A bit big in size and scale, not too noticeable though.

Sling back bow pump - black (patent). Great fit, already recommended elsewhere in this thread but here again to confirm.

    2. Great shots, jadepixel. Which size did you order on these? Marcia/Facets carries several different ones.

    3. Wow!!! Those Shoes are great and it looks like they fit perfectely!!!!

    4. sistercuervo - Thanks! Facets only offers these particular shoes in one size, it's not labeled but I'm guessing close to 42mm. The fit guide on that site is pretty helpful, I used that rather than size to choose these.

    5. Thank you! :) I really do hope these guys become more popular! I know they can make almost ANY style look good! :)

I'm expecting Giselle (my Lishe) in late January/early February, since I'm going to have to get clothes for my Unoas, I'll have Giselle try them on too! :)

    6. Ha! I got here just in time for the Steampunk discussion.. Just picked up this Ellowyne Wilde "Letting off Steam" fashion on ebay for Lishe, and it fits almost perfectly! The dress works well on her, fits perfectly on top, and at the hip, but a little loose on the waist. I think the hat works well with her scale too! The only thing that didn't quite work was the choker thingy.. Way too big, but thatโ€™s an easy fix!

The tights and the shoes also fit very well, she can easily stand by herself in them.

I think this is easily my favorite outfit for her right now!!

    7. norahyah: your girl looks lovely! is that a chicline wig! I can't find anything that really fits her head well.

here's Alyx in Tonner. she can wear the tights that come with this outfit and the shoes, but not the tights with the shoes - too thick.

      here's the whole photoshoot: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?420061-Alyx-et-Monet-(chicline-Ino))

she can easily stand in Tonner's Wicked Witch boots!

    8. petiteballerine, yes, she was wearing a Chic Line wig from Fairyland. It fits well but was a bit of a struggle to put on.. I find that all Avant Guards wig fit really well though! The Chic Line wigs with bangs also fit well and was a breeze to put on.

Here's a quick one of Lishe in Avant Guard's Bjoux wig. I love how this one is cut at an angle. BTW, the Avant Guard Bjoux fashion does not work at all. Her hip is way too big for it.

    9. conclusions from much trial and error:

1/) nothing will fit a chicline girl (don't have my boy yet) as well as clothes made for her.

2.) 4/5 monique gold wigs are almost perfect. (bangs are too long)

3.) it isn't all about the fit - it's also about the style. my girl isn't Tyler or Alex or Ellowyne. she isn't a fashion doll. she needs that edgy anime flair.

4.) I have to start sewing again.

      :sweat

    10. Totally feel your pain on #3! I'm really envious of all the cute outfits Dollfie Dream gets, would love more like that to fit Chic Line gals. I'm working on some patterns now, if I can work out the kinks I'll post 'em on the sewing section...

    11. EXACTLY! One of my girls off the MP came with the Lishe fullset and it's just going to gather dust since that's SO not her style and I could see that most others with the C-Lines aren't going there either. If we wanted a fashion doll we'd buy one, not a C-Line!

    12. *high five* Thank you! Gosh fairyland, get with it and make more c-line clothes that are similar to all the other lines you carry!
I can't sew to save my life! I need to find a seamstress! :(

    13. Unfortunately the C-Lines and their are on the back burner now, with the release of the FeePle65s. They've already responded on their blog to a similar statement that 'the C-Lines are the hardest to design for' 'so they won't be getting a lot of attention right now'. Those are paraphrased from memory...couldn't find the actual comments at this time.

    14. I wondered what they meant when I read that. At first I thought they meant the dolls, but it's the clothes. It doesn't make sense. They're not that strange to fit. I think CP just isn't into clothing. but, man oh man, I wish they'd find a company to do shoes. I'm also wondering what my Feeble 65 will wear on their feet.

Gosh, I love this little woman. More pix here:

    15. I got some misc heels meant for the Gene Marshall dolls recently that fit her arch perfectly. I got all they had of the mules figuring I could add my own uppers and paint them something OTHER than pepto pink.

You also need to go to the Fashion Doll shoe blog that Victoria Victrix and others have posted about. Awesome stuff.

    16. I love the Feeple65 fullsets they have out right now.. If they will only scale it down for C-line I'd be dancing around in joy.. They seem to do that once in a while between pukiFee and pukipuki.. Keeping my fingers crossed for the impossible!

    17. Oh, yah, I sooooo want that helmet in C-Line size!

    18. Great thing about these dolls, there's TONS of great underwear!
I'm convinced I need to start sewing again. ;)
