1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Fairyland Chic Line clothing, shoe, and wig database - Useable vs. REALLY FITS

May 18, 2010

    1. oh i really like that last photo.

      its really interesting to see all the different styles of female bodies like that lol.

    2. I don't know if this has already been said, but Unoa Chibi pants fits great on the girl's waist! I have a pair from Atelier momoni, and they sit just right ^_^ they are too short though, but shorts and capri will work :)
      I'm not sure how usefull this info is considering it's almost as hard to get clothes for chibis ^^;

    3. Lol, its good to know :D

      and they fit girl cline or boy?

      I would still really love to see minifee fitted clothes on chiclines.
      i like seeing how stuff doesnt fit rather than just reading about it ><;

    4. Does anyone know how well Jamieshow clothing fit the boys? There's sale going on and I really want to order some basics for my boys..

    5. Jamieshow stuff seems to be workable but slightly overlarge, like most clothing made for 16" fashion dolls. I have a Jamieshow shirt and a pair of shoes: they're well-made and attractive pieces, but the collar on the shirt is very big and the shoes are on the long side. However, the doll can wear them.

      I haven't tried the pants, though.

    6. girl! sorry, forgot to say :sweat

    7. Each photo has a description of what they are wearing and how well i think it fits, if you click them.

    8. Sadly, the Ital boots force you to lose his feet in them. No zipper, so when I went to take them off (second hand doll) I had to force the fabric under his heels to pop the feet out.

    9. It's not that bad. I just pinch below the heel and it comes right out. You can also add some socks so the feet stay on.

    10. Just got that outfit for my Rou a few days ago. Thanks for the advice on the boots - I was wondering if I'd ever manage to get the feet out of them again. :D The outfit itself is awesome, though. Like - perfect for my Rou. I'm starting to think I'll never need another one. :)

    11. I have a question about Tonner stuff and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Sometimes it's listed as Tonner Antoinette, or Tonner Cami, or just Tonner 16" are these all the same size? I'm sorry if that seems incredibly dim D:

    12. Xhanthi, you can see my experiments with various fashion-doll clothing on my own ChicLine here -- I tried on things from a bunch of different lines, so hopefully the fit info will prove useful.

      I've had good luck with stuff for Antoinette and AvantGuards -- Ellowyne stuff can fit, but since I can stuff a flat-chested Unoa or a Narae into an Ellowyne outfit and have them look proportionate, it might be a little oversized on ChicLine -- depends on the outfit.

      Thanks for the illustration, HarleyQuinn, that was really helpful for me, too!

    13. xhanthi does this mean you picked up another Chic Line?? Can't wait to see pictures! I've been trying and trying to get a slot with you for a couple of my C-Lines but no luck... They've been sitting blank for like 4 months now.. Sigh.

      Anyway, Tonner's Cami and Antoinette uses the same body, while Tyler uses a different body. I've found that generally speaking, most things that fit the Antoinette/Cami body will fit C-line large bust bodies fine. However, the Antoinette/Cami body has thicker hips and thighs compared to C-Line, and the pants look extremely matronly on C-Line. See this picture for an example.. Tops and dresses work much better. I haven't tried as many things from the Tyler line yet, but Tyler has a larger bust, smaller waist and hips therefore the bottoms from Tyler may work better with C-Lines. Tyler tops usually fit a bit loose and needs to be pinned in the back to work.

      Oh and I also found that things that are less embellished work better, since the Tonner dolls are 1/4 scaled. A lot of the larger embellishments look pretty ridiculous on C-Line.

    14. BTW, AvantGuards clothes work SOME of the time, but their slim, long torso means that really fitted pieces won't work. I bought this "Bijoux" dress for my ChicLine, and couldn't zip it past the waist -- even though my doll is small-bust, it still won't close, and the proportions mean that it can't be pinned to fit. I was really disappointed -- it's the one fashion-doll item that completely and utterly doesn't fit, and I have no earthly use for it.

      So, stay away from shapes like that, at least from AvantGuards -- fitted dresses for dolls with shorter waists and larger busts, like Antoinette, Deva, and Numina, may work better.

    15. I wish Dollmore and Fairyland would updte with more stuff for the males...

    16. Wow that was so awesome Ashbet! Thank you for that. I was wondering about Ellowyne, she seems a lot borader in the shoulders than chicline but my girl will have the large bust so maybe that would help fill things out?

      Yes! I'm getting a fullset chloe! I've been wanting to get a chicline again for so long but the timing was always bad. I'm so excited to be finally getting another :) thanks for the info, Looks like I'll start with some Antoinette/Cami stuff to begin with. I think I have a tyler top that I bought for my old chicline and it was definitley loose in the top.

      that's good to know, Thanks!

      I wish fairyland would just sell more chicline stuff end of story lol

    17. I've tried Ellowyne stuff on Chic Line large bust body with *some* luck, but I like them on the Minifee body a lot better. Generally speaking, Ellowyne is on the larger side of the 1/4 scale so the details on her outfit could look overly exaggerated on Chic Line. I have a picture here of a moderately successful try of an Ellowyne outfit. The shirt had to be pinned in the back, the skirt sits nicely on the hip but I thought the gathers were a little off scale for C-Line. The neck piece was waaaay too large, but the tights and shoes fit perfectly.
