Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Fairyland Chic Line clothing, shoe, and wig database - Useable vs. REALLY FITS

May 18, 2010

    1. genie stallings - Wow that's pretty peculiar o_o I bought two 4.5" parabox wigs and when I tried one on (long red straight with bangs) my El, it just wouldn't stay! Or when I finally managed to stretch it enough to stay, it just looks overly small on my boy ;_;

      I'll need to try again with my sleeping faceplate later cos at least he hasn't got a faceup and i can rough it up with him, but yea just to mention that my experience with the 4.5" parabox is a little different from yours. They're gonna have to live with the loose cancan 5" for now.

    2. For Parabox wigs you have to flip the wig inside out, place on top of the head, flip down the front while holding it in place with your thumb, and pull down the back while your thumb is still holding the front of the wig in place. The wigs are an exact fit so you might have to try this a few times before you get it on.

    3. I got Rini pants and shoes today (dollmore/16"fashion). The pants are a good fit (l just washed them and wating for them to dry so she can wear them) and the shoes fit her high heel feet but l had to play with them to get them on but there abit tight and there is a small gap between her fit and the shoe. I going to but the flat sandles that l saw so l will late you all know if they fit. Rini can sit in the pants as well.

    4. Hey Captain Janeway, which Dollmore pants and shoes did you get?

    5. LOL, Captin Janeway, I've been suckered into that fashion doll look that they have. Yet I love their slight anime flavor. They look more like small SD sized dolls to me. So I really like the small heads, but at first, looking at the pictures, it was quite shocking to see :) Can't wait to see the new dollmore goodies!

      Humm, Tatu, this wig from Dollmore is actually a very good fit, and it is so silky, but it's a black...just thought maybe it was close enough?

      aznbutterfly, thanks for those pictures. The Johnny wig is a close contender for my incoming Rou (well... not incoming yet, just on order...for a long long time :doh)

      Shoot, sistercuervo, that's bad news about the newline boots! I was so hoping they would fit :( Darn it, I can't find what I like for my incoming boy :..( This sucks! I wish Fairyland would sell shoes for these boys for us :x

    6. Pandy l got the 16" dollmore fashion skinny black pants for Rini and the shoes is the same. Ingiebee there is a post were some of the LittleFees head look good on the chic-Line body.

    7. Hi,

      I just recently got a Chic Line El. I've taken some pics of him wearing 43cm Narin clothing made by Her Delicate Strength. The shirts I tried were a little loose, but useable. I thought the pants fit really well.

      I also have a nude Avant Guard doll and tried the wig that came with her on him. It fit surprisingly well and would probably work better with one of the girl Chic Line dolls.

      Links to Pictures!!

    8. Thanks IngieBee, I might go for it. BTW how do Tonner's Matt clothes and shoes work on the boys? I thought the shoes might fit at least and there's someone on Ebay selling a range of real leather shoes for Matt dolls.

    9. Matt's clothes are rather large and a bit baggy on my Rou. Shirts are okay, but the pants are baggy. His shoes work, but are long and wide, so socks are necessary. I've got some really snug knit tees made for Narin on Rou right now and a pair of really tight jeans I think may be Tonner girl's.

    10. That's good to know. I guess it will save me some money if I decide to get an El. Does this mean trent's clothing will also be too big? What about the Dollmore fashion boys' clothing or the Jaimeshow boy's clothing? anyone know?

      Thanks!

    11. Here is my Rini in some F2BM sout fit. The F2BM underwear fit and so dose this t-shirt (mind you not all the t-shirts look good)

      Here's my Rou in the Tonner girl jeans, Narin shirt and Mio vest & hat;
      Vamp" shoes are from Goodreau girls

    13. sistercuervo- How well do the Teen Trends shoes fit? (Or even better can you get shots of the shoes?) I'm still looking for something 8besides* the Matt shoes for my boy, so, it's really great to see a shoe update that's *not* something with heels! XD

    14. Here's a comparison of the TT with Tonner Matt's dress shoes:
      As you can see the Matt shoes fit okay with socks but barefoot, not nearly as well as the Teen Trends

    15. sistercuervo were did you get the boy teen trend shoes?

    16. Tatu, I'm kinda hoping those shoes on ebay for Matt O'Neill dolls will fit, 'cause they seem to be the only nice choice (non plastic) Except maybe for what I see on Leekeworld's site, which is also on my list of possible shoes to try. I just don't have funds right now. However, if I get my job in September, I hope I can buy some :) But nobody's gotten any yet, I guess??

      Thanks, sistercuervo, for those pictures... wow, I also wonder where to get TT shoes!

    17. I found those on ebay and thought they look cute and so l bought 2 different pairs they have six different kinds. I will late you guys know if they fit.

    18. Thanks sistercuervo! I'll have to keep my eye out for the Teen Trends shoes, the fit on those looks *really* nice, much better than the Matt ones X3

    19. LISHE:
      She is wearing a Madame Alexander, Paris Williams doll, "FESTIVA PARIS" gown (fits perfect) and
      "Michele" wig from Dollspart web site.

    20. You can generally find TT on ebay, as you may Trent's things. I have a feeling Trent's trousers may fit, as he is thin and shorer than Tonner;s Matt. Goodreau dolls are at most doll retailers like Denver Doll.
