Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. FairyLand Fairy Line Mini discussion part 6

Dec 27, 2019

    1. does anyone have a stringing guide for the momo bunny legs? i unstrung mine but forgot how they go into the pelvis :sweat

    2. I have been admiring fairyline dolls from afar for some time now. I really liked the mermaid Kyma when she was first released, and I find myself still going back and looking at her. I'm wondering if I need to just go ahead and buy her!
I also like the look of the dragon legs.
Anyone with Kyma have thoughts about how she is?
Of the dragon legs, are the easy to stand or is it a struggle?

    3. I have the mint dragon legs from last year and they’re fantastic to pose with. I’ve gotten Braith to stand on a tree limb and a metal fence with absolute ease!

he was probably 5 1/2 feet above the ground in this photo and I was another 3 feet back to get this picture and he stood like a rock.

Also, if there are any photos of the legs you want I can take them!

    4. My she/they dragon Erda stands like a rock.
This is on a water bed.

I have both a seahorse mermaid boy and two dolls with the new mermaid tails (one male one female). My honest thoughts are the seahorse tails pose better, but both are super pretty.

    5. @Pen-Pen thank you! That's great to know, your doll looks so cool!
@Tippetarius thank you too! OMG I don't think I would try anything on a water bed ! What a great stability test!

    6. @skyealloway re-posting my mermaid tail picture here

This is from Akis the merman release, but the mechanic should be the same. It's not the best poser tbh, still it can move more than many other mermaid tails and the ease of switching between human and fantasy parts is the most beneficial of playing fairyline (I remember also took another set of photos with his human form in the same day, it's that easy even with outdoor photographing)

I admire Kyma, but have no story of girl mermaid in my head at the point she was released so I didn't get her.

    7. @xxxsaturnxxx I love the colors on the tail!! That's a beautiful picture. I don't love Kyma's overall color scheme, I think if she had been more of a pair to Akis she would have been wonderful.

I've never dyed any resin parts before but maybe a mermaid tail would be worth the effort to get it darker instead of coral or mint colored...

    8. The mint really depends on how you edit too, I just changed the saturation around a little and they look really blue in this photo even though they very much green irl.

    9. @xxxsaturnxxx That's a wonderful photo! The wig goes well with the colors of the tail :)

    10. @Pen-Pen that color looks great! Gosh I'm just going to have to keep my eyes peeled for some of these, I'm sold.

And speaking of sold, I did it! I ordered one of the Kyma's that Denver Doll still had. Perhaps not the most best financial decision, so I went ahead and put her on a layaway. But eventually I'll be the proud owner of a fairyline gal too!

    11. @skyealloway Congrats! Can't wait to see your Kyma here, please share picture when she arrive :D

What skin color and tail color did you choose?

    12. Congrats and please post pictures! There aren’t enough Kyma photos on the forum!

    13. @xxxsaturnxxx I wanted the natual skin, which sadly only the coral tail was left. I would have preferred one of the other two but maybe it'll be fine.
@Pen-Pen for sure! I spent days looking in all the places I could think of for owner photos of Kyma, and she's a rare sight! I don't know what it is about her face that I just love so much. And I think he wing fins are pretty cool too.

    14. I know it’s more money but DDE has a few of the other color tails in stock. You could always get one of those too and try to sell the coral tail.

i feel the same way about Serenia. I’ve been searching for owner photos and I think I’ve only seen 3. Which is a real shame.
