1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

FairyLand Fairy Line Mini discussion part 6

Dec 27, 2019

    1. @meanae Ooo thank you for that. I was just wrestling with Solas' legs to see if he can do the knee-to-chest thing, but he can't

@passionasfashion Hi! If i'm understanding correctly, the Fairyline and Motion line bodies look the same but their engineering is different. Fairyline comes with detachable pelvis and legs that are strung separately so that they can be swapped out with fantasy parts. Motion line does not have this engineering and are strung together from head to foot. I managed to find this post in a previous thread that shows some comparisons, as well as what the Fairyline mechanism looks like! If you scroll down a bit more, the same owner posts a photo of the knees-to-chest pose you're looking for. On a side note, I love the Ryung on your profile photo :D

:abambi: I managed to talk myself out of Erda for the dragon parts, but I am this close to hitting check-out on a tanned Klaus on DDE.

    2. @kagami Thank you for the link and clarification.
If the head I wanted was in the list for Alacarte Fairyland boy, then I'd order my new boy that way.

My Ryung, Ricky Jones, thanks you for the compliment.

    3. It's been so long since I've been on DOA! I just ordered a full set Erda so I could get the vampire head. I don't care for most of the set, but definitely need that head, and maybe the other parts will grow on me.

    4. Hi everyone! I'm also coming out of a long dolly hibernation but the "new" fairyline has really caught my attention. Can I request some spam of Atlis, Rens, and any other fantasy-legged beauties hanging out here? :love

    8. Fairyland has posted a notice on their Blog that the korean shipping services stopped working.

    9. Oh I must not have seen that! That makes sense, though. Thanks for letting me know.

    10. Depends on region for shipping according to their update (Oceania is a no-go and I am writhing in agony), but I assume that they're not done manufacturing the orders, considering how thorough South Korea was about their quarantine procedures. I'm also waiting on a Carol and she's still at in processing (at roughly 50 working days). I expect that even without the current pandemic, I'd have been waiting a couple more weeks with the full-set and event head combo that's in my order.

    11. Put together my centaurs (and soon-to-be centaurs) finally :) I'm still not sure how to do Alysses (modded Maya) overall color scheme, but Siean will get a white centaur body and will probably stay light.

    12. WOW! They are stunning! The colors are perfect.

    13. a centaur chorus line of amazing beauty! <3

    14. I wonder if they will do another Fairyline release soon. I need a fairyline body and holding out to see if they announce some more releases like the last event.

    15. Hi all :) I have a question for the seahorse tail owners. I own the Alicia tail but it's been in storage for quite a while. I took it out now, and suddently the body doesn't seem to fit in the tail as well anymore...It keeps trying to lean back. It never did this before. It is like the body doesn't 100% fit the tail anymore. Anyone know if this is possible? Can I fix this somehow?

    16. I'm trying to get going on some projects that I've put on the long finger and one of them is dyeing my Fairyline centaur body black, but I remember Fairyland recommending not taking the body apart as it's complicated, has anyone successfully taken theirs apart and put it back together?

    17. Jup, me! two times actually when dyeing both my tan centaurs bodies darker. Its not extremely complicated, but requires some work.

    18. I've heard of this happening. Mine are always on their mermaid tails but I do have a Momo whose human legs don't fit right anymore after being on bunny legs a while. I think the fix I heard of is to use a bit of heat to get the resin to go back into shape. Maybe hold it over some steam for a bit? I know that helps pop dented resin back out, I imagine it would have an effect on "warped" (for lack of better term) resin. In any case, it shouldn't hurt it any to try that. If we can dye resin by boiling it then some steam to try and pop it back into shape shouldn't hurt.

    19. Thank you! I shall give this a go. It is very odd to see how it doesn't fit right anymore after being in storage :/
