1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 7

Feb 22, 2022

    1. Yes please. :) I'm thinking about getting a new one for an Delf El I have. The skintone difference isn't too much of a problem for me.

    2. I can answer the clothes question. For the most part, SD17 clothes fit fine. My F65 boy (Rick on the newer version body) mostly wears either SD17 or SSDF* sized stuff.

*disclaimer that I'm referring to the original SSDF size. I have no idea if current SSDF sized clothes fit since the current SSDF line from Luts seem to be bigger than before.

    3. Ok, cool.
I have the old Feeple65 boy body. It definitely cannot wear SD17 boys' collar shirts. The shoulder joints are too chunky.

    4. Thanks! The new F65 seems slimmer as that's how they been making their boys (F60 too). So I thought maybe SD17 would work. I appreciate your knowledge!

I love the old body too but they are hard to get your hands on so I just will try for the new F65 boy.
I do remember them being more beefy. :)

    5. Does anyone have a picture of an old F65 boy and a new F65 boy body? I'm curious how they look side by side. Didn't realize they would have that big of differences.

    6. Hi! I have a hybrid new Feeple 65 boy body with a Delf Nanuri 07 head. The head is a very tight fit, I had to sand 1-2mm from the inside of the head to get it on. The resin does not match but I really love the aesthetics of the body.

In the pictures shown he is wearing a top that is from Volks in size SD17 for your reference.

    7. He looks really good! Yes, the fit with the neck could use a bit more work... maybe sanding the neck itself slightly?

      • x 1
    8. I've thought about doing that but I think I am ultimately going to choose an outfit that covers the neck. I didn't mind sanding the head opening since my head already had an eye mod, but I want to keep the body mod free in case I ever change my mind about what head I want on it.

    9. That makes total sense.

    10. Thank you so much! I feel the Delf Nanuri 07 is a slimmer head than Delf El. He looks definitely nice though. I appreciate you taking refs for me.

    11. Popping in to share my girl getting her horns situation situated. Lol

If people want magnets, I was able to find some at Home Depot! Ignore that she has a doubled up magnet. Super glue had an accident there.

    12. I wanted to share my finally dressed Dr. Stephen Maturin (Master and Commander -
and the 21 books) with his friend Captain Jack Aubrey and Lt. Tom Pullings - who
just got his uniform coat today.

Feeple65 Rick painted by VittaVera as Paul Bettany’s character from the movie.
Jack is an older Iplehouse EID Luo painted by Lyn Raftis.
Tom is a SartoriaJ 71ath Demian.

Now to finish dressing their women so they can join in the photos.

    13. Amazing costumes Robyn! So much work there! Well done (I am guessing you made them) :)

    14. Thanks SO much @LyanneNZ !!! Yes, I did make all of the pieces for each of these
uniforms (including the patterns for them). (Jack’s and Stephen’s dress uniform
coats are ready too - but waiting to share until Pullings’ is ready).

I’m sure that you’d not be surprised that it’s taken months to get them all done!!
Do you make toiles too, when creating your new patterns? Or are you way better
than me in getting patterns ‘right’ the first time??

      • x 1
    15. Oh I am not surprised that it took such a long time. It takes me ages just for simple patterns. Sometimes I make a "toile" as a practice run for more complicated things but especially with small dolls I am often impatient and skip that step figuring that even if it doesn't work I won't lose much fabric. With the big guys I would probably do a practice run first....especially for something like you have just made (I can't imagine even attempting this to be honest!) When I finally succumbed to two large men dolls I promised myself I would buy clothes for them but maybe one day I would make them a nice coat or jacket or something...I have sewed for my MSD sized men but the big guys only very few things...my hat is off to you Robyn!! Well done :)

    16. *Thanks* @LyanneNZ !! I’m just relieved that these uniform coats turned out reasonably
well! Just one more to go now.
Yes, I learned years ago that making the toile was SO worth the time. Like you said,
probably not worth it for tiny dolls, but for this size, yes. Otherwise it’s not only good
fabric wasted, but a LOT of time as well. I do find it a bit easier still to sew for the
1:3 guys rather than the 1:4 - so you might find the same thing once you do a coat
for the bigger guys? Still the linings…. With the elegant, fitted garments you
create for your gals, I can’t believe that you’d have a terrible time making a coat
for one of the big dudes!!

    17. I have a feeple65 Nuia faceplate that I want to hybrid but after having a quick look for headbacks it appears fairyland don't sell them separately? (I only saw the new release one). Is the only way to get one second hand?

    18. The new release one is the headback for Nuia—it’s been the headback for every F65 head since Sylvia (who was released in 2017, so “new release” is a hint of a misnomer). The other style of headback shown on that listing is used in pre-2017 feeple65’s like the OG Angela, Chloe and Roke, and has not been used since then.

    19. Oh thanks so much! I have not kept up with fairyland releases so I just assumed Sylvia was a very recent one :sweat

My Feeple65 Scarletia arrived today, you'll have to forgive me putting her outfit on incorrectly, I was a bit eager :XD:
