Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

What a beauty!

 

Yes, what a beauty she is, indeed! You know, sometimes you see a doll picture and everything fits - the sculpt, the faceup, the wig, the clothes and overall colours. This is one of those pictures. I really love how her face up harmonizes with the rest of her outfit, the brown and blue matches really well. And that wig - wow. Lovely doll.

 

I haven't made much progress with my Lookback El girl, but I've been fussing around with her so here she is!

This is a Luts Kid Delf wig that fit on her without much effort. LOL
I still need to dye her with yellow or tan to match her Delf body. And she just has a scribbled on pencil "faceup" for now

 

I've never seen an El as a girl!! She's going to look so stunning. Love this color wig on her.

 

@strawberryclouds_ I've only seen a couple, so they're quite rare! They were kinda hard to make into girls before because their head size was pretty big for girl bodies. My favorite El girl was on a Feeple65 body, she was beautiful Anyway, thank you!! I'm really excited about her :3

 

Ohhh on the Feeple65 body!? Gorgeous!! It's one of my favorite bodies. I love the aesthetic and how well they pose.

Will you be painting her yourself? Or commissioning someone?

I'm going to paint her myself! Not for a while, probably. Her body is much yellower than her, so I need to dye tint her head for a closer match. I just moved so I don't even know where my dye pot is But I'm excited to get around to it! I want her to have really dark, goth eye makeup and maybe lipstick... but I already have several dolls with black lipstick so maybe not though

 

Love that!! I love black lipstick on dolls, but if you're worried about being repetitive, you can always do another color! Like ox blood, plum, navy... Just to get the same feel, but not be exactly the same!

Does anyone have a photo comparison of the Fairyline60 and Feeple60(moe)
bodies? Or even just a full length photo of the Fairyline60 body alone?
I’ve looked all over trying to find a photo of the Fairyline60 body and have
had no luck. Thanks for any help!

 

Hey friends, I've had minifees before but only experienced Feeple60s at dollmeets, so when I ordered myself a Lookback Chiwoo from DDE and it arrived today I was...pretty shocked? I came to this thread and read back a few pages to learn that Chiwoo having an unusually small head is a known situation, but like, the head I received is so small it feels like it has to be an accident. Measuring around where a wig would sit, it's 19.5cm (7.7 inches) in diameter, and what's more, the neckhole is a few millimeters loose on the turnkey mechanism so the head wiggles a little. This can't be normal, right?

I took a comparison photo with a similar-size 1/3 girl, and with a Dollchateau 1/3 head I have on a 1/4 body (with the context that DollChateau's proportions are dramatically stylized, where I haven't experienced Fairyland to be this way before). Spoilered for doll nudity:

If it didn't fit on the Feeple60 turnkey mechanism, I would almost think they sent me a minifee head by mistake. I'm coming to you guys for your expertise with Feeple60: is this really what's normal for Lookback Chiwoo?

 

@ryotakishu, this does indeed seem to be Fairyland's intention. While their Minifees still have a large head proportion, their Feeple60 heads have been getting smaller and smaller. You're not the first person to wonder if their Lookback F60 head was a Minifee head. I've yet to see Lookback F60 and MNF heads next to each other for comparison- which would be super interesting because yeah, they're probably not all that different in size. My Lookback F60 El can wear MSD wigs!

All that to say, yeah, it's normal for the Lookback heads. I have to imagine that some people complained to Fairyland about it, so the fact that Fairyland hasn't made any kind of statement acknowledging a mistake kinda verifies that it isn't a mistake

I'm pretty sure the Fairyline60 has a slightly larger bust than the Feeple60 (both a-line and m-line) too. It's literally by just 1 cm I think? I have both bodies and I definitely prefer the Fairyline60... I'm just a huge sucker for that weird panty-like joint lol.

 

I do think the heads on the Feeple60s have been getting smaller. I know my recently purchased Erda wears a 7-8 sized wig. the new minifee heads have also gotten smaller. Most of the new minifee sculpts wear 6-7 wigs.
