Very nice! I just opened my Fairyline60 Miwa today. She's my first doll from Fairyland. She's so beautiful. I only have a wig, nicer eyes, and underwear for her right now. Do you have outfits for your Miwa. Fairyline 60 seems smaller in scale just a bit than my SD13. Do you just buy SD size clothes for her? Do you have any recommendations for clothes for Fairyline60?

 

Stuff for Smartdoll actually fits pretty well. Pants are a bit long but its easy to shorten those.

 

Heck some stuff for Smart Doll girls fits my Feeple60 boys. I legit have a few of my guys using girls tights and Jeans for Smart Dolls as could not find them other pants.

 

Ugh... "Lookback" and regret not getting them before heads. I really wish at least for these older sculpts that they would have kept the old proportions.

Also, I hope that people contacting FL about the sizing issue does not deter them from doing more dolls from that survey thing that they did. FL does not seem to take criticism well.


On a side note. Did we ever get a reason behind the cancelled Yrin? Something major must have happened for them to flat out cancel him and refund the orders that had already been placed.

 

Hello! I ordered my first Feeple60 and I was wondering if their feet fit into standard SD shoes or of they are a bit more specific? Thanks for the help!

Edit: Also, what size eyes does everyone prefer for their dolls? I

 

Their feet are too short for some of the SD shoes. They are about 6.5 cm in length. (Some SD shoes are 7.5 cm long). You need to check the inside length of the shoes in the description when ordering.
Eye size depends on the sculpt and the person’s preference. Also sometimes it’s the Iris size that is important too. Most sculpts take 14-16mm eyes.

 

@Dollquest Thank you very much. I had seen the foot measurements on Fairyland's site. When I had started looking I definitely found that a good chunk of SD shoes were too big or too slim. Are there any particular dolls they share a similar foot size to? I saw some places said Delf feet.

Hm, well I suppose I might have to wait until my Sia arrives to get her proper eyes then. Either I blind or I simply could not find the size eyes she comes with.

 

Yes, they are very similar to Delf feet, although my F60s can fit a few shoes that are too small for my Delf. Marble Moon on Etsy has some flats that they can make specifically for F60s. I have heard they take a long time to ship though. I have some of theirs that I bought on the second hand market that fit nicely. I have had some good luck with canvas hightop sneakers that I have gotten from amazon for casual shoes. The nice thing about those is that they are very inexpensive. There are also some boots that I ordered from Denver Doll that were the right size. Boots can actually be a little larger because you can't tell that they are too big because you can't see the empty space in the boot. They just can't be so ridiculously large that they are out of scale.

 

I'm not sure where else to ask, but does anyone know if Fairyland ever plans on re-releasing the "old" F60 body? I saw a video on YouTube that showed the difference in posing between the old F60 body, the Moe body, and the Fairyline 60 body. The older body seemed so amazing! Plus the fairyline60 body is more expensive (I guess to accommodate animal parts, not necessarily for posing?)

 

As far as I know Fairyland has expressed absolutely zero interest in re-releasing their old bodies From an artist perspective it makes sense that they've moved on from their old work but man, I love the old bodies so much

 

That makes me so sad! I'm looking to possibly reshell a character from a Minifee into a more grown up looking sculpt. I was hoping the Feeple 60 body was just a bigger version of the active line mnf body but not quite.

Edited to add that the male Feeple 60 body (motion) is so incredible at posing, so why not the female body??

 

My Feeple 60 Alan named Kash has some new clothes. His measurements are close to a Smart Doll boy body so ordered some items from Elite Doll World. Here is Kash in the joggers and a nice sweater. I also have TTYA jeans that work and two more shirts from Elite Doll World.

He has both the open eyed and smirk faces with default face ups, but I am thinking have both redone as he needs to look more teen then fantasy.

I really need to invest in a new camera and some lights, but I wanted to share Woari with you guys. She is still not "done" as she needs her wings and tail yet, but she is getting there!

 

@animemom You Kash is very cute! I also have the TTYA jeans for my F60 guy. I think I collect F60s because they mostly fit SnartDoll clothing so I can share clothing back and forth between all my SD sized dolls. I really like his turtleneck sweater too!

@Tonboko Woari is really cool looking! I really like her face-up. I look forward to seeing her with her wings.

 

I am so sorry to hear this too @overlordu I also was hoping that the Feeple60 would return
as that body is more appealing to me than the Moe version. Altho these Moe feet are darling!

That being said, I fell hard for the in-stock tan Ria that was on DDE’s site.
My new gal “River” - dress & necklace snatched from my SmartDolls!

This is what I get for not paying attention. When did they release Lookback El and do they plan on doing another release? Though I must admit I miss the old body sculpt.

 

Finding the discontinued sculpts is so hard. I wish I had the money to get them when they were more readily available. I am missing Siean and Luka right now... rip ;w; Especially on the older a-line body. (I love the look of the moe, but I like having height differences between my characters).
