Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

I think Denver Doll may at least have heads in stock; I've seen El, Lishe, and Chiwoo.

Aside from having just splurged on a MNF Lookback Shiwoo, I'm personally holding off on the Lookback Feeples because I'm not a fan of the proportions, either. I know that they're not supposed to be *identical* to the old Delfs (especially as entirely different dolls), but I'm questioning if they should have even called them "Lookbacks" instead of setting them up as event heads. I'm glad to see that there are people who prefer the new proportions and are making them work.

 

Did you, by chance, try putting that Chiwoo head on a MSD body? I may be more interested in converting a lookback head to pass as a MSD/Minifee. For reference, though my Lookback Shiwoo is proportioned more faithfully to the old Minifee, the lookback head is still smaller than its source material. A slightly-larger head may be feasible.

Hey, I started a Fairyland Lookback Database for all applicable sculpts (Feeple and Minifee) in case anyone is interested in contributing. I figured it could be useful as a reference for anyone curious or on the fence about Lookbacks. So far it's just my two boys, a Minifee Lookback Shiwoo and Chiwoo.

 

Hey! I think this is my first time posting here despite having my girl for years now lol. When it comes to shoe shopping for Feeple60 Moe - would you say Smartdoll shoes are always a safe bet? Or do you think Moe feet might be wider than theirs? I can only find the foot length measurement and can't find the width comparison. Thanks to anyone that can help!

I have had some luck finding both boots and shoes (flat & heel) on Etsy and Aliexpress. Moe feet are similar in length to Smart doll but fatter, so they can share some shoes as long as they are wide enough. My F60 and Smart Doll share a lot of shoes/boots and clothing (pants meant for SD can be a bit long).

Just wanted to share my new girl, a Nomyens Rin, that I acquired from the secondary market! My first artist faceup doll!

 

Congrats @AnnC She's lovely! Is anyone else waiting on the new F60 Sia? I am so excited for her, I already have clothes, shoes and eyes waiting for her and I plan to make her wig myself once she gets here. She will be my first F60, I am very curious about the body! All my other SD girls are SOOM.

 

@LiselT I just got my Sia a bit ago, well Sias as got the full set with both head options. The normal head is on the body she came with and the half-skull face is on a f60 male body. I have a love of Sia boys, so needed the half skull face to be one the second I saw it. My Sia girl is my first female feeple60, and I really like the body. (save for the extra small feet that drive me mad.)

I hope your Sia come soon. ^_^

 

The feet are the one thing I wish they would change. Not only are they short for SD size, but also very wide. It is tough to find shoes, but I do find that many shoes marketed for Smart Doll will work.

I had noticed the difficulty in finding her shoes! I hope the pair of boots that were delivered today will fit her!

@LiselT I never post on Instagram, and I have not gotten any pix of my girl Sia up on Flickr yet, as still trying to find her a wing I like.
However I do have a nice couple of pix of Rory my Sia boy I can share one of. (He still needs a shirt, but his looking is coming along nicely.

 

@Robyn_in_WA oooh, okay! Regina would like those. She is my little witch, and by little I mean she is super short She lives in heels and platform shoes.

@Tippetarius Oh look at him! Love him Fairyland outdid themselves with the skull heads, I love that it looks recessed and not as even as the skin!

 

@LiselT Thank you. I adore Rory to bits, he is going to be one of my more spoiled dolls for sure. Also the skull bit looks recessed because it is. It's actually it's own piece of white risen that is glued and/or sealed in place on the head with the face up. I got the blank MNF event head as my event gift and the little skull bit comes out so you can paint it and the face on their own. It's some pretty clever engineering on Fairylands part with the half skull heads.

 

So I decided today to spring for the very last Feeple Lookback Lishe at DDE after a long deliberation and I found out on Instagram that someone else got her… Serves me right for trying to be financially responsible.
