1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

Jul 8, 2021

    1. When I had a cygne (I think from her original release) she was that loose. I put a bit of eye putty into the connection to hold it on, because otherwise she was always ‘losing her head’

    2. I can second that; my CP Delf from 2011 has a loose, wiggly headcap, which I only noticed after I'd gotten him out of his box for some time to clean him up. I don't remember him being that loose at the time, so maybe the doll/resin "settles" with time? He's also floppier, but I'm sure that's the elastic stretching out.

    3. Here is a pic to show how loose the headcap is. If you shake her head, it jiggles like crazy. It does not fall off, but it just jiggles back and forth. Makes it difficult to keep a wig on.

    4. My Juri 2016 is also a loose head cap gal. I used a strip of masking tape to attach it. My Nanuri 17 and 20 are fine though. It's weird.

    5. So I have four F60 Alan heads in my house, two on bodies. See I got two blank Alans so that two event heads could have their own male F60 bodies. (I also have a blank Erda for same reason) So I have Scowl Alan with face up, normal Alan with face up, and the two blank Alan heads, and out of those, three of them have their head caps fit normal/tight. However one of the blank ones the head cap is so loose that it just falls off. I think this is a casting flaw/quirk that can happen. As I do not use that blank Alan head it's not a big deal for me, the body it came with it under my face upped normal Alan.

I should see about a group shot of my F60 boys at some point even if my elf boy still doesn't have a face up, and a few of them need shirts. XD

    6. Hey, the Feeples have a similar headcap attachment mechanism to Minifee, right? Where you push on the bottom part of it to release a tab nestled above the base of the neck? I just checked my Minifees to compare and the Spring 17’s headcap comes off super-easily and almost rattles, while my Lookback sculpts from ~2021-22 are tight and actually take some concentration to remove (safely). It would make sense if the looseness were caused by repeated removal, causing stress to the resin, and the 17 saw a lot of use from its previous owner.

Otherwise, it could be a variance caused by casting; @Tippetarius , assuming your Alan heads were purchased at the same time, that may be the case. That would also explain any issue with CP Delfs, who have a twist-off mechanism.

    7. Of my Alans two, were in one order, a preorder for the full set those are my normal and scowl boys with face ups. The other two were at two different times and in stock dolls, they all were ordered through DDE. Same as the my two Erdas, and Sia plus event head Sia.

I have six F60 heads on bodies, an older Erda on an older male body, two Alans, two Sias, and a Lishe winking elf. Of all these only one is on a female body a Sia, the other five are male and four of them are newer on the new F60 male body. I got 3 dolls to give male bodies to event heads two blank Alans and one new blank Erda all 3 are now floating heads in boxes. Out of the lot of nine F60 heads, only one Alan has a loose head cap. If that info helps.

Edited to add: I also have a MNF Alan and Scowling Alan and the normal MNF Alan's head cap needs to be held on with tape, so I guess that is two Alans with this flaw just in two different sizes.

    8. Can I ask where you got this outfit? I have a doll I absolutely NEED to put in it!

    9. It's from BIA on Taobao. It's sold out, but you might be able to find one on XianYu/Idle-Fish. There might be stock drops too later on BIA's Taobao.

    11. She’s really lovely @DessyChan ! Such a sweet, delicate facepaint too!

For F60 Chloe owners, can the Chloe head wear 14mm eyes? or a
16mm small iris eye? I’ve searched and cannot seem to find people’s
recommendations for her eye size. I have seen a couple of photos
with 18mm and find the iris size too large for my preference.
      Any thoughts are appreciated.

    12. here’s a picture of Chloe with 14mm eyes you may recognize ;)

    13. @DessyChan - She is so gorgeous! I love her soft faceup.

    14. Is she painted by Nomyens? I absolutely love Nomyens faceups❤️

    15. THANKS so much @Chameleon !! The 14mm look good to me.
Perhaps 16mm with small iris might be even better?
Yes!! I definitely recognize those lovely Dollbakery eyes! I’m so
glad that you have used them.
Your Chloe is enchanting!!! Makes me want one even more. Who
      did her exquisite painting??

    16. My F60 Chloe is like that (I was looking at your photo as well). I also put a wad of putty by the connector key and also use a wig cap as well as the wig and that keeps it on pretty well.

    17. Must be something about the 2022 dolls. My Rin is a 2021, and she does not have this issue.

    18. Yes she is :3

    20. I wish I knew who’d painted her! I got her second hand and she already had that gorgeous faceup!
