Fairyland Feeple60 Discussion - Part 15

Looks like Fairyland is conducting a survey about future special resin color releases, which includes the option to ask for them for F60's!

I've always loved light tans (like Volks Sunlight or Luts Bronco), so I think I'll ask for that. Would be lovely to see colors like lavender or mint too though!

 

I found that through the MNF thread, already filled it out asking for green skin and in feeple sizes. Glad to see it shared in more threads though so more people can give them feed back, I'm or the mind the more color options the better. ^_^

 

I’m not a fan of the current F60 bodies but I would not be able to resist if FL released them in pretty fantasy colors!! I suggested several shades of blue, turquoise, and red.

 

I figured I'd post the link here too just in case, I like the little dolls but the F60's are my favorite size so I hope enough F60 fans reply to the survey to get a special skin release!

I could probably resist the gray-blue, but other blues and turquoise I would not be safe from! And same, I'm hoping that FL will add the Fairyline60 to a la carte at least. Maybe if they get enough requests? The Moe body is quite cute, but I do prefer the more balanced silhouette of the FL60. And they did say that the original F60 motion line boy body will be coming back eventually, but that was over a year ago I asked so who knows if they've changed their mind.

 

I love the f60 motion boy body. I've 4 soon to be 5 f60 guys and only one moe f60 girl. The girl body could use improvements, but the male one is great at least in my mind. As for colors I'll be actually doomed if they give us green skin or other bright fantasy colors on f60 boys.

 

I have a question, my mum is getting a mirwen head this christmas, and we're hoping to get her a supia body, what color resin for supia to feeple would be the best match? I think one of the NS's but I'd like to know if anyone else knows!

 

Exciting! You may also want to try asking in the Photo Reference forum. It looks like Supia has maybe updated their colors. Previously, their NS was a decent match for FL, and I've seen photos of hybrids on DOA. My Supia NS body is a touch more yellow than my FL NS, but it's from 2017 so that could be normal yellowing.

I bought a Lookback Lishe here on the marketplace. She will arrive in the next few days and I'm so excited! She will be my first Feeple60. I haven't picked out eyes or a wig yet. I think I'll try on the things I've already got and let her decide.

I finally had a chance to try on some eyes and wigs. She doesn't have anything of her own yet. I wasn't sure about the moe body, but I think it will work just fine. Her hands are so lovely and elegant.

@overlordu I agree about the current F60 Moe body - how I wish they’d bring
back the A-line body for the F60 gals. Still - I do love their faces, hands and
cute feet.

I’ve recently received my long awaited F60 Chloe. I’ve long loved the sculpt
in minifee size and finally realizing I’m not likely to find her in F65, I had
ordered her in F60. She’s as lovely as I’d hoped. I did modify her brows
just a little bit, and added some lush black lashes to her eyes. I’d done
a pre-order for a pair of 16mm/Narrow Iris eyes - but ended up having to
get her some regular 16mm for the ‘look’ that I’d hoped for. Here is
my Chloe with her friend, Maia (tan F60 Mirwen - also modded brows).


just ordered Chloe another alpaca wig too! Sometime in September she’ll have an alternate ‘look’.

@Robyn_in_WA - Your girls are gorgeous! Where are their wigs from? And yes I'm so sad I'm late to the game and didn't get a Feeple before they discontinued the old bodies.

@DessyChan - She has such a soft charming faceup, it really complements the sculpt. I'm also very fond of sculpts with visible teefs.

On the topic of wigs, does anybody use Leekeworld wigs and have reference photos? I've scoured the reference threads, but so many photos no longer work. I'm hesitant to order from anywhere else because I'm familiar with their sizing (and know for sure 7/8 fits on my Look back Lishe, and 8/9 is too big).

 

I have several Leeke wigs, but all my FL heads are on the larger side. (Juris from 08,12,14), and most of my wigs are older styles, so I am not sure how much help I can be.

 

@Tonoboko - I would love to see any pictures! Even if it's just to show the colors. I also just love to see pictures of how different people style their dolls.

I've also been looking at Iplehouse wigs, but I've never had anything from them so I'm not sure about sizing.

DenverDoll has quite a lot of Leekeworld wigs - in stock - and some of them
have photos of the wigs on Feeple60 dolls too. I’ve not used the Leekeworld
wigs on my Feeple gals (because they got angora hardcap instead) but do
have those wigs on my Iplehouse gals. They’re high quality.

The Iplehouse wigs are also high quality wigs - and should fit the F60 gals too.
The shipping will be a killer tho!!! Their shipping costs have gone thru the
roof - especially for small items now. You may also find Iplehouse wigs in
the DoA Marketplace. And 8/9 ‘should fit’ - or if your dolls head is quite
large - go for a 9/10 size.

Chloe’s long awaited new alpaca hardcap wig arrived late yesterday.
I’m thrilled with it! The cap fits like a glove and the colors are just
what I’d hoped for. Here is my sweet Chloe with her new wig.
She got another new dress too! And a new sapphire / sterling necklace

Thank you @SacredMonsoon !!! Yes, Chloe is a recent (long awaited)
arrival, and yes, she was painted by Fairyland. I did modify her brows a
little bit (toward the center) and I added long black eyelashes (she had
thin brown ones on arrival). I’m quite delighted by her - and no longer
am wishing for the F65 Chloe that I never found.
