i've wanted a littlefee cygne for three years now and i'm trying so hard to resist buying one in-stock on dde right now... the only thing holding me back is that it comes with the fairyland faceup and i wanted a blank face so i could get a custom faceup done. but the faceup can always be removed right? i'm so conflicted on what to do omg

@lovegarden YES! CPFairyland's faceups can be removed and a new faceup done. Faceup artists will charge a bit more to remove a pre-existing faceup unless you remove it yourself. Personally, I'd let the faceup artist remove it unless you already have all the tools and supplies needed. If I were you, I'd buy that in-stock Cygne. (She's GORGEOUS!) CPFairyland has retired Littlefees with no re-releases planned. Even with a re-release, it's possible that Cygne would not be offered. Best of Luck on your Cygne quest!
Well, I must thank you all for talking about instock dolls at DDE. I went to look at Cygne but they had a Leah in stock! I sold my Leah to a good friend years ago and I have missed her. So I snapped her up!

I *think* they're only discontinuing some of the sculpts, not all. If I read the announcement correctly, they're probably redesigning the bodies like they did with the Minifees a couple of years ago. I hope so, anyway, because they're a perfect size to both take places and sew for. @Answer42 thank you! i'll just have the faceup taken off by the artist then and i think i'm going to go for the cygne!! i'm super excited since i haven't owned a bjd since 2015, and i was in middle school then so i didn't really have the proper resources to maintain a bjd and ended up having to sell both of mine. now i'm an adult with a steady income and can actually justify getting a bjd this time! @LadyMadrigal i think so too. i don't think cygne is at risk of being discontinued since she's more recent, but i don't want to take any chances. plus in the announcement it said they would be back with a price increase, so i'm just going to snag mine now. when pukifees were temporarily discontinued it took 3 years for them to come back and i don't want to wait that long. also your cygne is gorgeous!! i don't have any experience in sewing but it's such a cool skill to have. update: i just placed my order on dde!!!! i'm so excited
i did!! i remember back when i got my pukipuki i preordered it and it felt like it took forever to get here, so i'm glad i went with an in-stock doll. she shipped already and is on the way to me!!
I think my favorite version of Cygne is the Littlefee version! Definitely a good idea to snag an in-stock doll. I've learned the hard way that FL can be very erratic with their releases, and once something is discontinued all bets are off. *coughFeeple70cough* It took about 5 months but my LTF Chiwoo boy arrived a few weeks ago, and it's been a long time since I opened a doll and had "love at first sight", especially blank! I can't wait to get him painted. But I think he wants a friend, so hopefully FL won't take too long to bring LTF back. Maybe we'll get a list of discontinued sculpts soon, at least. ^^
