Congratulations on your new arrival! I went and checked my spam filter when i saw that he was starting to arrive home. Sure enough my dispatch confirmation from Fairyland was in there.

He has a long journey to England so probably another 7-10 days at least before he gets through customs etc. I will be repainting Obi or 'Woody' as I will be calling him, shortly after he arrives. I do like the teeth on him, but opted for the full set purely for his outfit and eyes, as I like to do my own face-ups. I will share him first though when he arrives

I hope his journey home will be as smooth and as fast as possible.

Well, surprise surprise he turned up today! Woo hoo! He sailed through customs and I didn't get charged any duties or taxes etc as I had been anticipating - so that was great!

He is so cute! I pencilled on some temporary eyebrows and will give him a new face-up at some point over the next week or so hopefully. He doesn't have all his full set on for his woodland character, but he really is a little ray of sunshine!

 

Yes, I am personally not a fan of the dots either, especially with the fantasy eyes.

Hi value was marked at US $46 so technically I should have been liable for duties but he slipped through. Maybe because it is a small parcel rather than a big doll box.

Good luck with customs your end - I will keep my fingers crossed for you

@Saraht - So cute! Good job on the eyebrows. They're a nice alternative to the dots.

 

I think Obi & Toki share a strong family resemblance. Look forward to seeing more Obi pictures.....especially if anyone is brave enough to modify those big toofers.

 

@Jonlyn Your little ones are always such a delight to see...they absolutely brighten my day! Toki is so unbelievably cute! And those little overalls and shoes are positively epic!

Happy news! I just received an email from DenverDoll telling me my gray skinned Obi with face-up is in, so my ghostly little Casper is finally on his way home. My dear little Morticia (who has been waiting for a best friend to share her treehouse with for years) is totally beyond thrilled! And the best part is that I just finished making Casper a complete wardrobe and a fun wig too, so we’re all ready for his debut.

 

Congrats @PoeticSoul ! A complete wardrobe--Caspar is going to be spoiled for choice. I'm working on an outfit for my yet-to-ship Obi. It will be her only outfit for a while. And I still have to make a wig.

@Jonlyn - Your Toki is beyond cute! That faceup is great.

My little gray basic Obi arrived today! I had to finish work before I could open him up and check him out. Even with those big teeth he has the sweetest little face. I named him Riot because he looks like he's having just that much fun! Hopefully I can get a picture or two tonight or tomorrow morning.

Congratulations @PoeticSoul on your ship notice! The gray is a nice color. I've never had a whiteskin doll so he is the lightest little guy in my collection. He does make me want one in tan now too!

@kadepie , I too sold my first Toki....don’t know what I was thinking of as I regretted it right away. Took me forever to find another, now he’s a big favorite of mine.
