How sweet that you & your Dad shared the dollhouse project @Booksandtea . I’m sure that makes your dollhouse even more special to you.

It is special as it actually happens to be my childhood dollhouse. And my Dad was the one who built it way back when I was three so it was lovely getting to fix it up and repaint. He had to finish it on Christmas Eve as my brother decided to arrive a month early just one of our family stories

 

@El BJD what a delightful pair your two make! And those outfits are absolutely darling on them...such exquisite detail in something so small.

@Booksandtea what a tremendous story and sweet memory for you. Thank you for sharing it with us.

 

I have been wondinging about this as well as I came to the doll world after these were no longer being made. Recently on the Facebook fan page someone posted a discussion with and actual call in to the company and the spokesperson said they would resume making the tinies in the fall. Another person posted to the effect of ' yes, we've heard this before...' I wonder if that is common, that they promise new releases soon... OR, if this is actually new news.

 

I wonder how many companies have this much demand for a particular doll and ignore the marketplace. I don't know of other dolls that have this much production interest... Must be patient I guess... it's the hobby for patience!

 

I may be wrong @SummerCabin but I honestly don’t remember them ever mentioning releasing ReaPukis until now. All I’ve ever seen/ heard was the same message that they were waiting for their production person to recover. I’m more hopeful now that they’ve been more forthcoming with a timeline. Really hope we won't all be disappointed.

 

Oh, I missed this entire thread!

I am so excited about the news that Fairyland will revive realpukis in the fall! Is whoever wrote Fairyland here, and would that person mind sharing the exact wording?

@Ruthiepooh , I don’t think the person who contacted Fairyland, then posted their response on the Facebook group is a member here but could be as people sometimes use different screen names on different forums. I too would be interested in more details regarding their response & also responses others have gotten in the past. All I remember from past inquiries was the production manger was ill or injured & unable to work. I really think this is the first time they have said they have plans to resume production & given even a vague timeline.

I know! I´m tempted to write to them myself to be sure I get the details right!
Lati will relaunch their basic line this summer too, so seems there is a lot happening in the mini- department suddenly .

 

Good idea @Ruthiepooh . I think I too will email them ....maybe a lot of encouragement will help too. Guess I will have to be watching for the Lati relaunch too...love tinies!

 

No worries glad to share a story. I now know how to build a dollhouse so when the time comes it will be possible for me to build a home for my realpuki.

I am very hopeful @SummerCabin ! Another of my favorite companies is creating a new micro tiny bjd now too.....my poor bank account!

Yes it is! I’m really looking forward to getting a new tiny tiny! I see from your avatar we have a lot of dolls in common....obviously we both have good taste!! LOL

 

Fairyland making Realpukis again is just about the nicest thing I’ve heard in a while. I really hope it’s true.
