1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fairyland Realpuki discussion - part 20

Apr 5, 2020

    1. My Anubis/Soso full set was ordered a few hours ago. I'm so thrilled.
I only have Obi (basic) and another second hand realpuki so far, but have pukipukis also. I haven't ordered directly from fairyland until now. I have no idea of a time frame.
      Can't wait!

    2. So, what size eyes do you all use in your Soso? What size iris?

    3. I went smaller than suggested, I think I put 6mm in them because their eyes are tiny and I wanted them to look normal. I hate the look of dark eyes covering entire eye socket, it looks like a black hole to me.

    4. I used 6mm too for mine. I think 3mm is the iris size.

    5. I think Fairyland sends them with 6mm, and that's the right size for them. My Kali needs a new wig, since the first didn't really suit her, and someone else is wearing it now. Etsy is probably the best place to look for one.

    6. Well, I managed to miss the release window for the basic Soso, he's already sold out. :atremblin

Anyway, congratulations to anyone who ordered - I hope they don't take too long!

    7. Oh my gosh, it really is sold out. That was fast.
      I'm so sorry.

    8. Keep an eye on DDE when the orders start coming in. They often order extra stock. That's how I was able to get my Obi.

    9. Oh, wow, basic Soso is already sold out!? I second keeping an eye on DDE. I got my Obi that way too.

    10. Soso basic are back as In Stock on the CPFairyland site. I'm repeatedly talking myself out of ordering a tan!!

    11. lol - DDE's site is down. I guess Word Press, their development tool, is down? ...so I'm not sure if it's back in stock there.

    12. DDE was back up this afternoon. Meanwhile...

Here's a 3D-printed Realpuki-size chair I bought from MEDisonManMinis on Etsy. He graciously upscaled the table top gaming chair for me. Kaka can now sit on his chair with his feet FLAT on the floor! I also bought several other Realpuki-sized items from the same place.

    13. Thank you for the heads-up!! I did NOT resist, and I ordered a basic Soso in tan. :D
A RP was on my wish list for such a long time that I really couldn't resist.

I'm trying to delude myself into believing I will not order any new dolls in 2022. :mwahaha
(If FL doesn't come out with new RP in 2022, I may even succeed. Note that I'm not making any predictions for 2023, though!)

    14. @Fairy Milliner Congratulations on being able to order your Soso after all! Good for you! And I understand completely about not wanting to order anymore dolls in ‘22. I’ve made the exact same promise to myself (basically being out of room and characters to shell)…BUT I’ve also made an exception for Realpukis. There’s always room for those, and I have absolutely no will or intent to resist them.:)

    15. Thank you! I do think I'll have to make an exception for RealPukis as well - and for DC Jodie, as I do have a WTB out for both on the MP - I'm not expecting anybody to react to either, but if somebody does, it would be rude to refuse. :XD:

(Besides, you can't have just one RP!!)

    16. Realpukis are like popcorn or chips! You can't stop at just one! :XD:

    20. @sammy529 Your little Smudge is positively adorable snuggled up in those blankets wearing such a cozy outfit. Super cute and I love the name!:)

@Jonlyn Such a wonderful photo of your little one…Oakley is absolutely precious! I’m really loving all these cozy photos of the little ones.:D

As for me, I’ve found myself with some free creative time on my hands, between finishing the holiday decorating and the upcoming cooking marathon of Christmas…so I’ve begun sewing nightgowns for my incoming Soso, Lilith. I know she’s still months away, but working on tiny nightgowns seems like a fun, cozy project for the season. She’s destined to be one of my little haunted crew and spooky, flowing nightgowns just seem appropriate for her unique character.;)
