Fairyland Realpuki discussion - part 20

Well, I had to order him in gray. The complete set as I just liked the whole look, especially the helmut. I think he's adorable and can't wait to add him to my crew.

Looks to me like the basic options are up now.

 

Yes!... I was able to order basic in grey with helmet and shoes. I only need Toki to complete my little minions! ….. I shouldn't say complete, ….. with these little ones it's never enough!

 

I don't see any of the older sculpts among the basics, only the new one. But, if enough people order the new sculpt, maybe that will prompt FairyLand to offer the older sculpts later.

The above link is for the full package. Find the Basics by backing up to the page for RealPuki (New Release). Don't be fooled by the photos of Popo. Obi is the only one there.

I'm tempted to order Obi in gray, with faceup. Still debating whether or not to add the helmet and shoes. Maybe just the shoes. Denver Doll places an order with FairyLand every Saturday, but you have to place your order by Friday night to get in that week's order. It's still a Pre-order. The doll won't get here any faster.

 

You probably don't need to file down the teeth, @El BJD. They're outlined in red. Just get Obi unpainted, get your faceup artist to paint the mouth in natural tones and not paint the line between the teeth. Or if you want the faceup, just paint over the center line with white. My Obi will be a girl, so she can go for the Winifred Sanderson look.

 

I pulled the trigger too. Ordered natural skin basic. @El BJD , funny, I was thinking my little guy may need a little dental work too. Won’t know until I see him for real I guess. He will probably spend time in the waiting room with my Aki who’s at risk of losing his wee fangs too.

 

With the old sculpts, I saw this in the comments to DDE's facebook post for the release!

 

I ordered Natural Skin Obi in the Gold version! I can't wait but...oh, what a wait it will be.
If other RealPukis are available later this summer, my budget is in serious trouble!
Oh, I can't wait!

 

Update! The news notice can now be read, and the first section has:

"Please note that in order to minimise processing delays and to maintain quality of our products, Realpuki Basic will not become available for sale immediately.
Sale schedule for Realpuki basic remains undecided at this point but likely to return by end of this year."​

So! It's not fully set in stone that the old sculpts are coming back, but its quite likely they are.

 

I'm so excited about a new realpuki! I can't decide which skin colour to get and whether to get the gold set in NS or tan. All my crew are NS. I need to find them as we've just moved house and I'm not sure which box they went into! May have to get grey as a basic too. So excited!

 

I know you're all buzzed about Obi now, but my Frida (titi) wanted to share some giggles.

What a news!!! It is very exciting the fairyland decided to make new rp release. Hope we will see more of them in the future.

 

I really-really-really wish on old sculpt return. I hope to get Roro and Aki.
