    1. :lol: actually this time, she's gonna be more fantasy. I'm kinda half basing her on Sailor Moon, but going with this AU idea that she didn't die when she was Princess of the Moon. So she'll be Princess Serenity and I have plans to get her a Prince Endymion (Tuxedo Mask). But I've come up with a different storyline for them that takes them away from the whole Sailor Moon thing.

      I think it'd be rather odd if Fairyland didn't sell her. They wouldn't be showing pictures of her in the blog if they didn't plan to sell her...I think they just have to hammer things out like price and how much of the profits the artist gets, things like that. I plan on ordering on layaway through DDE as well. Plan on making it 4 month. I don't actually think it'll take me that long to pay for her, but better safe then sorry...and she'll still be here for Christmas...yay for snow pictures :)

    2. I am not as creative as so many of you with coming up with characters and storylines. I need to find my long lost childhood creativity! I like dressing them and posing them and taking pictures and such, but I have difficulty coming up with something more elaborate. :doh

      I am sort of seeing her as some sort of vampire (or maybe fairy?) queen or something though (yeah, probably not original, but oh well)... I have been stuck on all kinds of vampire fiction for the last year and a half. I'm not ashamed to admit that I am an adult who read and instantly became hooked on the Twilight series and then that started me on the Sookie Stackhouse books and I've read all of those, and have read a variety of others, and now working through the seasons of True Blood.

      I would really like to do more with my dolls than I am, but I feel like the weekends just aren't enough around my busy work schedule!

    3. In2themystik2, if you like all that you should check out the Firefly series. Kind of a different direction, but still scifi fantasy. And very well written and acted. If I didn't have a character for her already she might have become Innara Sera.

    4. Oh, building characters is fun. You said vampire fairy queen and I got this dark image in my mind of magic and lust *shivers* I think I've been watching too much Merlin...Morgana has infected me with her lovely wickedness.

      But you could run in that thread for a bit. How did they become vampire fairies? Does she have a massive kingdom, or is she perhaps on the run from someone? Did she inherit the throne or perhaps stole it from someone else? See, lots of ideas.

      I haven't worked everything out with mine yet. I'm gonna wait until she's ordered and then gets here and I can see what's she's like before I make any definitive decisions about her. I know who she's gonna be, but her back-story and future story kinda depends on her :) Never though I'd say this, but can September get here faster please...

    5. I just saw that it is on the netflix instant streaming, so I added it to my queue and will have to check it out when i get a chance!

      Yeah, I really need to work on flexing my creative muscles a little more, like I did as a child. My hypercritical mother may have stifled a bit of my creativity as I got older!

      My girl will be named Fiona, she is a seer :) She lost 80% of her sight when she was forced to look into an unknown future, and saw the Nether, by accident. She cried blood, but because she couldn't see it, and remove it, it soaked into her fair skin, and is now a unremovable part of her :)
      Her outfit is classic seer gypsy inspired... She is a helper of one of my main characters in my BF's RPG x3 (She got many helpers along the way x'D)
      Her own future is unclear ^^' I can't figure out if she should follow Harley and work at the tarvn or if she should be a stray like some others.... Hmm...

    7. Everyone's ideas for characters are so wonderful!! I plan to name My girl Senna. I have a bad habit of making my dolls into characters from books I like. She is based off of a character also named Senna, who is a with that is both good and evil at times, from the Everworld book series. I don't know if anyone's ever heard of it before, but I just loved the series in my teens. I can't wait to see what everyone does with their girl. I hope we are all able to get her!! :3

    8. Oh, character chat is fun x3. Sorry I haven't been able to chat here more myself, with school about to start I have really been buckling down and trying to get a schedule together. So I haven't made it around here for long enough. Sad times, but I'm here now lol.

      Anyway, if anyone's curious about my girl. I'm still fleshing her out really (as she keeps changing in my mind. I think I'll be able to settle more once I get her), though so far she's very soft spoken, and very shy. She'll be my little ballerina and have passion for preforming... And that's as far as I've been able to get her character, or at least as far as I've gotten it to stick x3, everything else about her keeps wavering. I'm sure she'll tell me more, once she's here and I get to start playing around with what suits her.

    9. I want to join !!! Ok, if all works out, I will be reshelling my MNF Amy into this new girl. I was gonna pass on her 'cause she's SD sized but I've been trying for a long time to find the perfect Vance and when I found him as an Iple SID, I knew this girl was meant to be Amy and I was gonna have to give the bigger size another try. Anyway ... she's a regular girl from a dysfunctional family who waits table at a biker bar in nowhere PA. When she and her sister are attacked by vamps looking for new recruits, she is saved by Vance, a shapeshifter (he's a wolf but don't call him a 'were' ;)) Unable to go back to her old life, she joins him as they hunt down vamps, trying to 'save' her sister and get revenge for the deaths of Vance's parents.

    11. Ok, my turn. She's my F65's love interest. For some reason, right now I think of her as Door, who is the main character in Neil Gaimon's Neverwhere novel. She's not actually Door, but I think of her as a strong female figure with many similarities. And if need be I will buy her fullset and wipe the faceup to be redone by a fabulous artist who is just starting out but does wonderful work.

    13. Welcome back Pauline, not sure if you had already left when they tweeted, but they're not supposed to announce anything until sometime in September. They are working on trying to make it possible for people to get her and figuring out legal stuff with copyright and such for the artist. Other than that, we don't really have anymore information at this point.

      I believe CP just wanted to preview her for Comic-con, but I don't believe she was something they were quite ready to sell yet, but more like a project in the works. Twitter person said that they aren't giving any information yet, because they want to wait until it's all official first, probably so they don't say anything prematurely and then have people more disappointed.

    16. I'm lovin' all of these great character ideas. I am not good at coming up with characters but my husband tends to assign personalities to my dolls once they are home. He tells me what this doll or that doll says and thinks and before you know it they have their own little personality all their own!

      I have no idea what we would come up with for this doll though. She does seem very fairy-ish to me so maybe something along those lines.

      I do have something in mind for this girl. My theme is very much Midsummer Night's Dream. All of my dolls so far are either elves or faerie. However my next LTF will be a faun (if I can ever get hooves) and this girl would make a great mummy for her...minus the hooves. I'm terrible at details. XD

    20. Your ideas of the characters for this doll are awesome :) I don't have everything worked out yet, but generally I plan to style her in romantic casual and I want her to be a dancer :) a jazz or/and modern dancer
