    2. Bad news for those who want her now or soon. I just talked to Yamato USA and they said they are still working out the agreement with Victoria Frances AND that the doll was only a prototype and FairyLand is still tweaking it... The doll at Comic-Con was not the final product :( Good news is that Yamato expects everything to be worked out and she said the doll will DEFINITELY be available for sale next year. She couldn't say when next year. It all depends on when Victoria Frances gives her final approval and when FairyLand finalizes the sculpt.

    3. Awwwww, the poopie part about that is ... the sculpt could be ANYone - it doesn't look like a Victoria Frances face unless you include the faceup. I hope all they need her approval for is the Fullset ...
      Personally, I'm not as upset about her not being released soon as I thought I'd be. I just spent all my money on Vance and though I'm dying to finally get him and Amy together, I'd rather 1. get some more money for her and 2. have them work out all the kinks in the new body so it works perfectly. I also wouldn't mind waiting as much if they'd just give us the details about her - or at least what their plans will be. IE: yes, she will be released but not 'till next year. she will be available in basic and here are her measurement ... blahdy blah

    4. The other day I tweeted to FL that I/we hoped that she would be available through DDE so that we could order her by layaway. The English Admin just replied and said:

      Although I guess if it ends up not being until next year, that gives significantly more time to save and more time for me to spend my saved money on a different doll, since I have several on my wishlist... lol. Even the most patient and dedicated have their limits! Find another doll and then save up some more! :)

      Boo! :( That's disappointing though if that's how it ends up happening, now that I've tried to get my creative gears turning, but I guess what can you do? I guess we wait for official word from Fairyland, as I'm sure that more information will be given long before then, even if it's not all of the details we want.

      Next year - by then we could probably all develop a NOVEL on her character/story!

    8. *whew* I just posted 6 different listings on ebay of things to sell (unfortunately nothing very expensive, but little things add up!) to generate some money to save towards this girl. I HATE listing things on ebay though, and I swear it must have taken me 3 hours!!

      I'm still on the path to saving though, and thinking more about character development and on the whole Vampire Queen line... may have a name too! :) Just wish it weren't going to be such a potentially long wait! Also, I'm hoping that she will be a size that fits into the SD Dollheart Fer, because I love those things and I totally think I could work that in with her character.

    9. I love those Fers too, but as of yet have been unsuccessful in snagging one (MNF size) it would be so cool if she did fit the SD size ones. I think I would make a real effort to get one for her. I think it's a little easier to get the SD size ones.

    10. Napria - thanks for update. It's dissapointing though it gives some chance to save up (at least for me). But I hope they won't end up selling her only through yamato or smth and that FL will work it out too. Like Ban said - the doll itself isn't very Victoria Frances like - the thing is in faceup and clothing. So Fl could produce the new doll line in basic and if the agreement goes well the fullset in limited edition. I don't think they would made a prototype of the new body just only to make a one doll.

    11. that's my thinking exactly Pauline - even if the face sculpt ends up being limited, I can't see them creating a WHOLE new body and not releasing it as a new line. I just hope the faces they sculpt for this line keep with the more mature/realistic look of this one. Much as I LOVE FLs other dolls, they are a bit stylized and I'm REALLY longing for dolls with more realistic features.

    12. Oh gosh! One part of me is just so sad she won't be available sooner and another is glad because I need to save up money to move out. I guess I get to do the right thing this time. hehehehe ;)
      I would be able to save up money even if she was released next month but I just get to save up extra. Or maybe I'll just get tempted by that IH SID male finally. :drool

    13. I'm kind of happy that she will not be released anytime soon :) I couldn't get her anyways, but Now I have a chance to buy her when she is released ^___^ *happy*
      Also, her story doesn't call for her to be home RIGHT NOW! x3 I can wait...
      + I can't have any more dollies this year :c (unless they are a present)
      Maybe I can bring home Ophelia before Fiona (this doll) That would be perfect X3 I think : D

    15. I hope that her face sculpt will be available one way or another, as that is a big part of why I like her so much and the reason I wasnt keen on F65 chloe. I personally did not care for her face sculpt. Boo, yeah, I can't wait to hear more information. And who knows maybe she will be ready sooner than expected! :)

    16. I agree with what everyone else is saying, if we have to wait til 2012 I at least want the details. I think that's fair. Since some of us will not want her if she is not a certain size and that's a long time to be saving up dolly money without knowing for sure, when it could have been spent on something else.

      And this is kind of off topic (okay, way) But I just went through the Maryland earthquake o.O... Not fun... But, it sparked more character ideas for this girl... Is that sad? x3

    19. *Sigh* Still trying to be patient waiting for news because I want this girl, but as I have a little chunk of money saved now, and have just been drawn to another limited non-FL YO sized bjd that I am contemplating trying for when released... but I know I should save the money for this girl, but I'm also kind of seeing the other one as a possible related character, as I can see her as a young, childlike vampire... Boo! If this girl doesn't end up coming out until sometime after the near year, then I could keep saving for her... I wish I knew!! 4-5 months or so is a long time for me to just have saved money sitting in my paypal knowing it's for dolly funds! :o*_*:)
