Is this the correct thread for the Elfdoll Hanna doll too? They are available for order and was wondering about the quality, posing, stringing, etc. The photos look great and with four painted faceplates and seams removed, I am all excited. But if there is another thread I should be posting on, please let me know. Thank you in advance!
dollswest, there is another thread for Hana around here somewhere. If you do a search up at the top of the page you can find the link. I personally love my little Hana Angel. She poses perfectly. Absolutely no problems and I am a big stickler for posing. I have BJDs from a variety of companies and I can honestly say Elfdoll is one of the very best. The quality in the details is amazing. I don't think you would be disappointed at all and the face plates are too cool!
Somehow I never got a shipping email notice from Elfdoll, but most emails from Korea never seem to get through to Earthlink.net. I went to their web site and checked my status and it says ON SHIPPING, and I can get the EMS tracking number! YIPPEE !!! A watched pot does boil !! Heheheheheeeeee!! I cannot wait to see her with her tiny skateboard, overall jeans, wig(s), and sleeping faceplate!!!
There is a Hana/Doona thread and I didn't like my doll's posing (had an old one) and sold her. I can't wait to see all these Dodos! Maybe they changed their minds at the last minute to release her again?
My little DODO should be here on Monday !! She has already made it to Los Angeles and is in Customs. I'm in So.Calif. EDIT 6-7-10: she just cleared Customs this morning. Did not arrive on Monday {{sigh}}
she is here its lovely to have a DODO BACK ...Love the new body ..holds the pose so well but the outfit is ..well how to put it nicely ..would be beautifully made ..if you could get it on the T shirt was a squeeze ..but it went on ...the Dungarees ...Impossible ..no way they will go over her hips ...so I snipped the seam at the waist at the back ..and they go on now ..but are too short .Ive got some boots somewhere Im going to tuck them in ... but Dodo herself ...beautiful

Carrie - she is so beautiful!!!! I can't wait to get mine! That is such a bummer about the outfit though. I'm glad you were able to work it out some. Thanks for posting a pic so quickly! It will help get me through the day at work before I can go hopefully pick my girl up at the Post Office tonight.
She's so pretty, Carrie... !! Don't they do "quality control" before shipping off outfits?? Maybe they were made on a Monday or Friday?? ;( ;(
lol COULD BE its sad because the quality is stunning ..all it needed was a fraction more lenght and alittle more ease ..or a propper fastening at the back will be interesting to see if the rest are like it Arwen likes her boots ..so she isnt too fussy ...and she is now eyeing up a dress Jayne sent me ..that was ment for my Moona ..I can see IM going to have my hands full with her !!
Love her wig so much, and faceup. I wonder if all of them will have the same eye color as yours Carrie?? Sometimes companies send off dolls w/ "random eye colors".
Dodo is so cute! What a HUGE shame that the outfit is so poorly made! It looks cute but, wow, wouldn't it be helpful if it fit? Oh well at least Dodo herself looks like perfection! I'm getting a bit turned off by so many delays, misstatements (availability issues), and lack of QC with these dollfie companies.
MON, June 7: Well... my mailman just left, and no DoDo today.... but, I must remember the words of Scarlett O'Hara.... "tomorrow is another day!" TUES, June 8: She is "out for delivery".... went to walk my dog and MISSED THE MAILMAN!! Grrrrrr.... so I won't see my girl until tomorrow!!!
Got mine today!!!!!! She's SO beautiful! I was able to get on the overalls - but not the shirt. Carrie - did you take her head off to get on the shirt? I didn't even know how to go about it. But without the shirt on the overalls could squeeze over the hips. Here's my girl named Abby: Edit: I forgot to mention - I got one of the fur wigs!!!! I think there were only 5 and they were going to randomly give them to Dodo owners. I got one!
