Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       Please post pics of the fur wig!

      I did not know it was going to be a "fur" wig because the pic on the Elfdoll site had several long, saran wigs in different colors!

    2. The normal wig she has on is a saran one. But the fur one was an extra gift for 5 people. I was going to try and put it on her - but she is strung tight - and I didn't want to mess with her too much yet - so I took a pic with her next to (lol - it looks like an animal at her feet). BTW - she can put her hands in her pockets!! So cute!

    5. Hi, everyone... I finally got Ms. DoDo today and here are my observations and pics:

      I really thought that she would have the same type of switcheable faceplates like the Hana dolls. ;(

      I also thought that she would have not only magnetic feet, but magnetic HANDS. ;(

      They totally forgot to put openings on the white shirt and overalls (see pic)

      The original DoDo overalls are much larger, and have a snap closure on the back.
      The original DoDo white shirt has a Velcro opening on the back.

      This is a huge production error and I have written to Elfdoll about it today. The clothes need to be replaced IMHO.
      Will let you know if they reply to my suggestion.

    7. She is so cute Teryl. Yes, the clothes should be fixed then. I see. I hope if I ever get mine out of layaway, that I get clothes that can fit on. Maybe I will try to request that before or when, I make my final payment. Thanks for showing us.

      I love her brown wig - I wish they had those for all the tinies this size. My Lyn could use one of those!

      I could get the top on ..but not the overalls ..even when I snipped the back seam ..they arnt big enough
      and are far too short
      I will go leave them a note too xx

      overall I like her ...but the outfit I presume is made somewere else ...they cant have tried them ..they wouldnt have got them on

    10. I hope all of you complain about the clothes because i agree with th1 that it's a production error and needs to be replaced! But they won't do it if no one demands it.

      I really love all the photos of her! She's really adorable and it would be so cute if you could buy a separate body for her sleep head.

      Yes we found out the problem a few days ago. The outfit designer fitted the outfit
      to Monnaemi's body, so it's not problem on opening, but the size was too small.

      The designer's working on right size outfit at the moment, and will be all shipped out
      again during next week.

      Even so, how could you get the overalls on or top on (over the head), without an opening or snap at the back???

      I still am wondering about "what were they thinking?"

    15. Thank you all for posting pictures of Dodo. I still have 3-4 more months of layaway before I can bring her home. Thank you Teryl for letting them know about the clothes. I didn't realize a Monneaemi was smaller than the rest of the tinies.

      I'm sort of disappointed in extra head, too. I also thought it was going to be changeable like Hana's. I also thought the hands were going to be magnetic as well. Oh well. At least we all have her now.

      I think that their intention was, that, because the feet pop off, you could just slip DoDo's legs down inside of the Overall pants!

      Even though the Monnaemi torso is small-busted, I dont see how you can get that white shirt on, over the head, without a back opening. All of the tiny clothing that I've bought before on Elfdoll have had back openings!

      About her EARS: I am seriously thinking about modding them... I'm not into Elves at all !!
      I may just have to make sure that her ears are covered up by her wigs!!

    17. I'm glad to hear Elfdoll is going to remake the clothes, Dodo's outfit is so cute it'd be a shame if you couldn't have her wear it.

      I'm really enjoying the photos, I wish I could have gotten her so it helps to be able to see her here, thanks for posting them!

      I'd be curious to see any modded ears!

    18. I have the monamee sisters and there is no way it will go on !
      there is very little difference in the size ...even though these have jointed waists and torso ...the size clothes ..the same

      still good to know they will replace them ...I got that wig too ..
      IM feeling quite special then ... although I prefere the long one ...

      Ive thought of taking her ears down too ..I want them like the old elf ears
      .I can do it on my Moona ..so I think I can on this girl too ...I will try her sleeping head first

      I did write to OKA again and tell her that we need OPENINGS on the back of the re-made DoDo garments!!

      OMG... All the designer needed to do was try the outfit on one doll, before going to production!

      Also, keep us posted on how you are going to Mod your Ears! Wet sanding? or a dremmel tool??

    20. Wow, I've been away soo long...I loved seeing everyone's lovely Dodo's that came in. Congrats to all of you who got them already. But I like a few others have to wait til' layaway is completed. Gosh, I truly appreciate th1 for taking initiative for all of us on notifying elfdoll about the clothing situation...that's terrible. It all sounds a bit like a rush job for me, when it came to the clothing... just a sad mess and hopefully every one that has their Dodo's already will get the correct sizes soon!

      I wondered did anyone get a different hair color besides the brunette? I remember seeing blonde and I think red? I wonder how Dodo would look in those colors. I do prefer mine to be in the dark brown or black, the way she had it originally...one can hope right?! Again congrats, and please more pics pleeeease...dodo spammage!!

      PS th1 could you take a side by side pic of the original dodo and this latest release dodo??
