Fantasia Doll Elder/Senior Sizes

Oh... I would like to get Barbara's head (non sleeping) - she is perfect for my character, but now it's sold out =( I hope I can find it someday at the Marketplace)
But does anyone know what bodies will it fit so that the total height with the head will be not more than 60 cm?

 

I don't have my head yet, so I don't know anything about colormatching or proportionality, but these *should* work in terms of straight-up neck-size.

I have noticed that the head (10cm) should probably fit on a Dollmore Zaoll (9.5cm), but it would probably look a little ridiculous. But that's probably the smallest body it will go on.

Ringdoll RTG60-03 is 10cm <- this is the only 10cm body I found for a "perfect" size-match in the 60cm range
Spiritdoll Elegance is 9.5cm <- apparantly do resinmatching?
Iplehouse nY.I.D. is 9.5cm
Sadoll Love 60 is 9.5cm
Loongsoul B-G58-02 is 9.5cm
GUU doll 58 is 9.5cm
Islanddoll 60cm Girl body type 2 is 9.5cm
Popo doll 60cm girl is 9.5

You might be able to swing a Little Monica Grace Harmony body at 9.3cm if it's ever released as a basic doll. Dikadoll 60 is at a 9.2.

In terms of proportionality, I would put my money on the Iplehouse Y.I.D., they have a page under Ipletalk -> Ipledata that shows an EID woman head on a nYID body, and it actually looks fairly proportional. You should be fine at 0.5cm smaller, but the resin-matching will be off as people have previously noted.

 

Fantasia has sent me the Isaac heads I originally ordered, and I *really* like them for my character -- but he needs a lankier, skinnier body, so the Jupiter mistake-heads will get to keep the bulky Fantasia body for themselves.

I did some experimenting yesterday (and should have taken pictures, sorry!): while Isaac is quite a small head, the face is long and has fairly large features, plus the neck hole is deep. It looked disproportionate and no-necked on a 60cm DollnDoll King body, but fit nicely and looked great on an oldschool Dollshe body. In terms of the resin match, if my 10-year-old Saint had kept his original pale pinkish tone, his body would have been an excellent match for Isaac; my best guess is that more recent Dollshe freshskin would work really well as a match for Fantasia's normal resin.

 

Eee! Guys Angel Toast sent me the face up photos and I couldn't be more excited to see her IRL.



She turned out so well, very angelic. I'm definitely gonna have my Vivianne made up to look allot more sexy/dark for counter balance. No shipping notice from Fantasia yet though, so it could be awhile >w<

Oh wow usually they are pretty fast to answer messages, did you try posting on their Q&A board too?
I wonder how many dolls are in production from the sale and if the orders will be delayed like the initial run.

They did give themselves a huge amount of leeway too with order times.

December orders could be processing until March.

Same, Alice was over 60 days and I ordered Vivianne in October so well over 60 days so far.

But I'm patient~ I'm used to waiting on dolls lol.

they gave me an eta of 1/13 back in Oct. sadly my doll patience well is a little dry atm...

 

I ordered in October as well and mine was also estimated at 1/13. I ordered a Normal Skin Vivian on the gorgeous B body.

I can't say I'm surprised given Fantasia's record, but was still a little sad to see the due date come and go. But to be fair a lot of doll companies have the same problem, so I'm not really complaining.

 

Yeah I feel a bit of frustration too. I guess I kinda assumed it would end up being a longer wait, so I was more or less prepared. >.<

I ordered the A-Type body this time since my first doll was on the B-Type.

Man, one complaint I have about the bodies is it's crazy hard to find shoes! The heel feet are crazy arched so they are basically unuseable and the flat feet are very long and very very wide. So far Super Senior Delf Men's shoes from Luts are the only ones that fit.

My husband got a 3D printer for Christmas though so I'm looking into the possibility of making my own. Not that I have any experience with 3D modeling. If I'm successful I'd love to share them with everyone, even if it just the bases for people to decorate themselves.

 

I thought they were supposed to have revamped things, including having a reliable shipping schedule? sincerely hope they'll ship soon.

 

Yeah I just looked and it does say 10-60 days. For some reason I thought the lead time was up to 90 days.

I ordered on the beginning of November and was estimated that my order would ship on the 6th of February. (Vivian, NS, B, A bust)

Hopefully the wait times don't get delayed too far. The character that I want to shell to this doll is very important to me and I'm anxious to start working on new clothes

Ordered a white skin Vivian on the B body over here! Placed my order on 10/28, so my shipping date will be tomorrow, 1/19. Sounds like that's not going to happen, though!
