Fantasia Doll Elder/Senior Sizes

She's going to be related to one doll I already have. A kind of a strong adventurer type She's supposed to fit next to shorter SD and look amazonian in proportion. Hoping for a good fit! The heads of other larger dolls tend to be a bit too big to look good together with the smaller dolls.

 

Fantasia replied very quickly, and apologized for the delays.

They said Vivianne (Ordered mid-October) will be ready to ship next week. Hopefully that means we will see more shipping notices soon ^^

 

Oh She'll certainly look like a amazon, and their heads definitely run small

I'm thinking about making a spear for my Alice and I'd love to have her decked out in something Valkyrie like.
If only my sewing skills were on that level.. lol.

Hope I will hear from fantasia soon but since she's tan I expect her to take a little longer...

Hey all, I have ordered a NS dreaming Vivianne on a B-B body and a WS OE Jupiter head. The body is also for another head so I hope my crazy hybridation plans go well. Will try and post pix once they get here which I am guessing is not going to be soon!

 

I have ordered B body in NS formy iple Asa ) december 08 and mote than a week ago they told me, that the body is ready to ship, but they have problems with some holograms on their COA. I really hope they will figure out these problems, I can't wait to make my girl muscular, as she is supposed to be Maybe I can hope to receive my shipping notice on this week.

Glad to see that there's some news about shipping. I ordered an Elder B Alice in tan at the end of November and have been stalking the order page with more frequency.

I really need her to get her because I'm running myself ragged with different ideas of who she could be. Is she an onna banchou? Samus Aran? Applejack? Lady Zhurong? I won't know until she gets here...

 

I just got an email from Fantasia customer service saying they were planning to ship dolls on Jan 25 but the products received from manufacturing were defective and have to be remade so will be yet another month delay. They say the English speaking administrator left the company so they couldn't notify people in English because of that.
I feel bad for them but it is hard to try to support this company if they cannot get their act together pretty soon.

 

Got same letter here. atm I'm asking myself if I really need the dolls and contemplating cancelling...

 

I also received the same email. It's a shame they are having so many problems. (the CoAs, losing the English administrator person...) Well, hopefully nothing else goes wrong!

Wow the poor Fantasia team, they've had so many complications
They have my sympathies and support.
I hope the next run goes smoothly, I'm glad they are opting to remake the dolls/parts rather then send out a poor quality product.

 

I also received the notice last night and I thank them for keeping me informed.

It seems like a bad series of unfortunate events for the company, but I'm still extremely glad I got to order one of thier lovely dolls when I had the chance. I'm also pleased that they're not willing to send out an inferior product but would rather re-make them. The extra free head also has me intrigued- I love surprises like that ^.^

I too am really happy theyre updating us and that theyre not willing to accept inferior products. I would rather wait more than get something of poor quality.
And I'm also really curious about the gift head *0*!! i wonder what it will be like, and if it will come in the skin color we ordered our dolls in...
Other than that, does anyone else have a problem accessing the q/a board? when i open it just says "data not found" o_o

 

It's working as of today.

I ordered my Sleepy Isaac + Sleepy Alice heads last year. They're due later this month and in March so it's still a ways off but I hope Fantasia gets a lucky break from the suppliers. I'm in love with their sculpts and honestly, if I had the money then I would have ordered more.

 

I also got the same email and am glad that they are keeping us updated. It is sad that the wait is longer but I appereaciate them doing their best.

I am quite concerned about them as people and as a company - all of these events must be quite stressful! I hope they find a suitable supplier and don't get discouraged from creating more wonderful things.

 

Eee! My Alice heads finally came back from Angel Toast and they are even more gorgeous in person!

I can't wait till I get home from work so I can share some photos!

One thing though, I've never had a floating head before and not sure if I like having it just sit around. I'm not sure if I should sell it or just find a way to display it.. any one else have a floating head(s)? If you do what do you do with them while they aren't on your doll?

Edit: Oh and if anyone needs a photo of the heads on any of my bodies I'm happy to share!
Also for planning purposes 8-9" wigs are way to large. (I'm sad because I don't have anything smaller T^T)
