Fantasia Doll Elder/Senior Sizes

As tall as an EID but slimmer?

 

Definitely curious about clothing sizes here. I know she's gonna be almost as tall as my Raurencio Studio boy but beyond that I'm lost.

 

The heights of the dolls are similar, and the height-proportions of the Iple lingerie seem to correspond very well. The lingerie is way looser than the measurements would indicate they should be on the waist, at least. It is very, very loose.

I even took my own measuring tape and measured the muscular body waist myself and got 21cm (for comparison, Iple EID are supposed to have a 21cm waist). The clothes are just way too large.

So, either Iple's clothes are made way too large, stretch by a huge amount (the waist has like 3-4cm excess fabric) or EID just have a larger waist. I want to believe that Iple's clothes are just generally a bit larger than needed (I've had clothes from them before and they're always seemed too loose to my tastes) and hobbyist-made Iple clothes would probably be a good fit still.

So as far as official Iple clothes are concerned, I'm more inclined to go for SID clothes (at least where the garments are supposed to fit more snugly on the waist and if you have a small bust fantasiadoll body ).

 

Still waiting for shipping notice. I hope tomorrow otherwise they will be getting a very concerned email from me *sighs*

 

They're going slow, but seems they're going. My friend just got hers yesterday. She said the box was really nice. And the head was realllllly teeny tiny. Also, no COA included. I know I read something about the COAs... I'll have to go look back on the thread. Slow slow slow.... but steady..? Meh.

 

They quoted the 14th for me. Just gonna cross my fingers. @chalyss aren't they supposed to be shipping out new COAs in a couple months? Perhaps your friend will get theirs then.

 

ohhh! Well let's hope! Sounds like they're being a bit slow on those too, eh?

 

We have lift off!!! I emailed them last night my time basically just to say "hi you said you'd be shipping this week! Is everything okay? Ifs now Friday" didn't get a reply to that but for my shipping notice email!

Okay so the also said this:

So! We will see. No sign of the monetary compensation they promised me. I assume because my order was over $1000 I was promised $200 refund as compensation for my wait? It's early days and I'm not as bothered. I'm just glad it's shipped T_T

 

Congrats CountessHeloise! I hope they can ship mine next week too...this is what they said:

"There was a mistake in the shipping process.
We accidentally missed your shipment.
I am very sorry indeed.
Your item will be shipped again between April 18th and 19th."

I'm still worried but it's better than radio silence. I really hope they don't forget my heads. It'll be a real big letdown if they ship out the compensation heads earlier. I mean, I'm glad for you guys but I guess I wouldn't know what to feel if ever.

Oh well, here's hoping.

I got my shipping notice today as promised. Yay!

 

This is correct- my friend told me they were working on an anti-recast, super duper coolio CoA or something, so yes in a few months (May?) the new CoAs will be sent out to the owners. Good call!

 

My order is now awaiting customs clearance! Wish me luck! Then I can get some pictures up for you all!!! I plan to do a side by side with my Dollshe Amanda beauty and my iplehouse SID

 

I wish You luck and believe Your dolls will be perfectly alright. Today I picked up my Vivian at customs and she is beautiful (and without any harm). It seems that our dolls were sent as the same batch.
I am so eager to having her face up done that I'm already putting first layers of MSC

No I only got the awake Henry. I only got sleepy Isaac because of free gift for delay of shipping.



Here is Henry dressed in a suit from Sartorial J in size for Dollshe 28m Classic. The fit is quite good as far as the top and the shoes. The pants legs are good but the waist needs to be taken in as it is baggy arround his middle but doesn't show under the waistcoat. This is not going to be his wig but I thought he looked funny bressed up and bald so...... need to buy him something more suitable.

 

@Therealwalter He's stunning! Congrats! The sculpt really shines through even without the face-up.

Sorry, side question...is anyone here still waiting for heads or the like? I'm losing hope that Fantasia will ever send mine. As of their last e-mail, they were supposed to send both between 18-19 and, well, no notices and radio silence.

It's very stressful for me. As of now, they've pushed back the date about 5 times and although I'm happy you guys are getting free heads, they haven't sent my paid ones. It's a sleepy Alice and sleepy Isaac...they said there was "a mistake in shipping" so mine was delayed so...I'm presuming they just sent the ones cast for my orders as bonus items.

I don't know...I regret buying from them. I'm trying to stay positive but it seems there's no real intention to send my orders.

Any tips from you on how to encourage Fantasia to send my stuff? Aside from a Paypal dispute...unless some of you have tried that and succeeded...
