1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fantasia Doll Elder/Senior Sizes

Mar 15, 2016

    1. I emailed them earlier this week, and have yet to hear back myself. The last response I got was in early December, a little over a week after my initial inquiry. Is there possibly any holidays that might be occurring where they are that's holding up communication? Should I be looking into filing for a claim at this point, or should I wait?

    2. Hello, all, and happy new year! I emailed Fantasia two weeks ago and heard back today. My doll is shipping next week. Will let you all know when I get the tracking number.

    3. sakuraharu this is great new for everybody awaiting for Fantasia doll. I want this female body too, but could order after same money-saving. Please, share photos :D:D

    4. I'm curious guys, which email are you emailing? The hanmail address or the hotmail address? Or are you just ccing both?

    5. I'm doing the hanmail. Has anyone been getting better response times from the hotmail?

    6. I used the hanmail address.

    7. I’ve used the hanmail and I have gotten responses, they just take a week or more. I’m trying to stay positive, the last email I got was Wednesday stating that it would be another 2 weeks before they ship and because shipping was so expensive they asked if I would rather get her shipped unstrung and they would include first hands...of course this is after saying they would ship 3 weeks ago and I asked what was up...

I wonder if they’d be willing to ship sooner if we payed more for shipping? It’s already painfully expensive but I might be willing to cover the increase in shipping costs if I could have her sent to me sooner. Plus I know they’re a small company and it’s not like I want them to have to take a loss just because something out of their control like an increase in shipping costs happened.

    9. I honest don’t thing that would make a difference, I don’t think the dolls are really made yet :(

    10. I personally haven't heard back from Fantasia since I placed my order back around end of November (there was almost an immediate response then). I've been very busy so I only emailed them a couple times in the past few months--hoping for at least a payment confirmation after the initial email--but nothing. I am not sure what to do. :(:(

    11. I haven't had an communication since november when I ordered, so I'll probably trying emailing both emails and see if I get a response.

    12. I just got an email from them regarding shipping costs. Apparently the costs went up, but they aren't going to charge anyone extra. They are trying to incentivize shipping the dolls unassembled. They are offering an extra fist hand if you choose this option.
There was a possible shipping date listed in the email. The 19th, but they didn't say which month. I can only guess it's this month.

    13. I still haven't gotten a head they owe me from 2017, and after confirming my address with them again they haven't responded to me at all.

On 30th December they said they'd be shipping in a week, yet I have not recieved any shipping information or package.

    14. Well, after the 2 week shipping promise with the Unassembled/free fist hands question (which was after the 1 week shipping promise, which was after the first 1 week shipping promise) I haven’t heard anything...so same as the last time I ordered from them but even more frustrating, I mainly ordered so they would be more likely to send the head they promised from my previous order, but of course I’m feeling a bit foolish now...has anyone opened a PayPal claim yet? I think that’s my next step. I would obviously rather have my order, and I don’t mind a longer wait, but the lying and ignoring is even worse this time around :/

    15. Nothing here, either, they have not even asked me if I want her shipped unstrung (I don't, I want the box). I asked them to write to me about shipping now, and informed them I will need to open a claim on 31 March unless I get the doll shipped to me by then. That's when PP protection ends for me. I cannot trust their estimates that never hold, and who knows if my doll is even really made yet. I really hope I get the doll and don't need to go for the refund because I would just lose money (due to the exchange rate gone worse). I was foolish and even shopped for her already, so would suck to have to sell all that stuff too. But I just can't let it go past 6 months in this case.

    16. vauhtikatti and all, I am so sorry about this case (again). I was admiring body photos and especially yours, vauhtikatti and hoped that one day I would order this female body . But now I am very disappointed and everyone will be afraid to make additional orders. Maybe lacking of language skills (English) is part of problem as well as cultural differences. If I understand it correctly, In China, you rather fall into silence than admit your failure in a sale promise. Maybe this is reason for all this issue.

    17. @susana789 from what I can see, they are very sorry also, but it doesn't really justify the lacking communication. I mean, they are willing to pay for the difference of shipping, which is probably setting them at loss for those who purchased dolls at discount prices. I paid 60 usd for shipping back when I ordered, but I know that today shipping her to my country will take about 200 usd (for example Iplehouse, who is also Korean, charges I recall 220 or 240 for one SD woman doll). Of course, by shipping in promised schedule the shipping costs could also have still been lower.

    18. vauhtikatti I fully understand and I do not excuse their actions (lacking communication, changes in the terms and fails to comply ...). And risking PP protection is tricky, because it is the only legal customers protection for cases like this (BJD is very specific commodity). I had custom order corset for my BJD from Georgia (ex Soviet Union): package was shipped via special service (with Saudi Arabia broker and via London Airport, I did not know about it, that connection alone is suspicious) and custom control was twice as long with extra documents and extra procedures and package was opened by custom. And shipping fee was more than price for corset, but my seller suggested that we split the surcharge. 200 USD is killer price as shipping fee for BJD. it can change everything.

    19. I have received pretty much the same email responses. I'm not too concerned about getting mine assembled or coming in the larger box, so I opted for unassembled.

Something I wanted to note that I haven't noticed brought up at all in here—in the responses I received, they noted being a one-person op doing all the doll creating, assembling, shipping, etc. by themselves. I'm not trying to make excuses for them, but I do wonder if this might be why they're extremely behind with the orders? If that were the case, I wish them the best of luck getting all the orders packed and sent.

Regardless, I hope we either start seeing some confirmed shipping notices and arrivals soon, or refunds. I'm hoping it doesn't result in refunds though.

      That's my 2¢ on the situation:kitty2.

    20. That's bad to hear that you have problems with your orders. I've been reading and researching hybrids lately for the Rainman Rene head I've ordered recently. Seems like many companies are experiencing this kind of delays, I don't know if it's because the pandemic, but I hope that people who ordered their dolls before it have them shipped soon.
If you already have them at home, could I ask you what Fantasia normal skin tone looks like? It's more yellowish or pinkish? I love both female and male bodies, they look great.
