1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Fantasia Doll Elder/Senior Sizes

Mar 15, 2016

    1. @vauhtikatti - Oh she is lovely! Her scar is nicely done...there...but not overpowering.

    2. @luluna thank you! I did Jane's first faceup back in 2019 and decided to just draw a random scar on her. It's funny that since then have redone the character twice and I still don't know what's the story of the scar. Usually my characters are well planned, I know their favourite foods and have a ton of hobby related props for each.

    3. @vauhtikatti - Plans are glorious...but sometimes our resins keep a few mysteries of their own. All good! :)

    4. both your ladies look gorgeous!

      Has anyone had any contact with Fantasiadoll/ Uidoll? My friend and I have not received any answer since April, not to mention that we also have not received our orders from November.

    5. A friend of mine was in a similar situation. Fantasia stopped responding to her around April, so she filed a paypal claim. Fantasia never responded to the claim so she got her money back.

    6. Same here, I ordered last September and haven't heard a word since April. At this point I've given up on ever seeing doll or money. Sorry to hear others are having trouble too. :(

    7. It's so sad to hear that despite the renewal, old problems with regards to delivery times and communications came up again. :( Even though fingers are still crossed that all outstanding orders will be fulfilled eventually, looks like the secondhand market would be the way to go if I decide to get another of these dolls.

    8. Hi! Thought of bringing this thread to life again. Those of you who were still waiting on their dolls this summer, did you eventually get the orders or has the company gone under again? I see the site is still up and running, but nothing seems to have been updated since last year (goodness, how fast does a year fly by?)

      I'm getting my 2017 "serious" Canary back from PauliAnne's faceup magic workshop soon and she did a lovely job, cannot wait to be photographing my girls again. Now 4/5 of my Fantasia heads have a face and a body. :XD:

    9. I've no idea if they are dead in the water again, but since they released a 70+cm guy this year I'm hoping not. But it wouldn't surprise me either. I've got the Mars body and since I finally added sueding to his hips he finally stopped flopping over backward.

    10. I hope at least they shipped all pending orders and responded to emails if nothing else. Haven't heard of anyone placing an order with them in the last 6 months here or on Instagram, but the thread has been pretty much silent that time.

      My Venus body did benefit from hot glue sueding the elbow joints, too, as they lost friction pretty soon after I received her and the arms started just flopping back straight. I didn't end up keeping her, but instead purchased a similarly proportioned (a.k.a. busty) FeePle65 body for my Canary head. F65 hybrids well with the old 2017 heads size wise but the resin match is pretty off between the two NSs, so the head needed to be blushed to match.

    11. I ordered in Sept. 2020, last heard from them April 2021, promising an April delivery. For that reason I let my Paypal window expire, which was my mistake. I never received my order, and they've never responded to any emails. I've given up hope. :(

      edit: correct dates

    12. I still haven't been sent the "free" head from the first preorder despite reminding them and being promised it again. It's not that big of a deal but the flat out lying makes it so that I definitely wouldn't order from the company again.

    13. @Alewife,

      I'm sorry to hear you haven't received your doll or a response to your emails. That's tough. I got curious to see how things had gone with the new orders since i had heard that the old ones hadn't gone that well.
      I seriously would send at least a couple of emails a week. Perhaps then, they may get a "hint" that it's time to get their behind up and running again. No communication what ever the problem is, is not really an acceptable business practice.

      @ronnie92, sorry as well that they did not keep their promise to you about your free head. Unfortunately if they aren't even taking care of the people who paid for their dolls, I see it much harder for them to worry about what they would consider a gift. Which is too bad. Because it's not about free heads but about keeping to their word.

      I wish you both the best with them.

    14. That's sad to hear they disappeared again, though not awfully surprising given their history I'm afraid... This thing with leaving existing paid orders hanging is new, though. I hope their creations don't end up banned on DoA as a result of their actions because that would mean half my collection would be banned lol.

      I wonder if they went under altogether and just forgot to take the website down or if they're just selectively avoiding communication with some. Meaning, if someone new were to email them to purchase a doll, would they still respond and take the customer's money and would this person eventually get what they paid for? I would try requesting a purchase for research purposes, but I think they'd recognize me by now.

      As a more positive thing, here's my 2017 Canary painted! She arrived with a tiny chip on her nose sealant and will travel back to the artist once more for fixing it, hence no gloss or eyelashes, but I can already see her character coming together nicely. She's on a FeePle65 body (head was resin matched and body's neck modded with Milliput to take an ordinary S hook).

    15. @Bren , you're right and I should pursue it some more. I will report back. ;)

      @vauhtikatti your Canary is adorable!

    16. @vauhtikatti, Yes your Canary is lovely. Bummer about the sealent. To me she looks flawless.:3nodding:

      I didn't know that when an artist was banned from DOA that the clients were not allowed to show that artist dolls if bought previously. I could see the Artist been banned, but why punish the innocent client? I guess some rules I just don't quite get.

      @Alewife,

      Good Luck. Rooting for you.

    17. @Bren and @vauhtikatti Just for some clarification. If a person or artist is banned from DoA for something other then a doll or dolls being suspected of being recasts, then only dolls created after the person is banned are considered off-topic. So any dolls they created before the ban, and that were deemed to be on-topic before the ban can still be discussed on the board.

    18. Thanks for clarifying that.

    19. @Alewife and @Bren thanks! I edited the photo not to show the shiny nosetip.

      And thanks for clarifying @Cloudedmind , seeing as they produce the same sculpts over and over again with teeny tiny alterations that would be something tricky to monitor. :lol: hope they would get their business back together and ship what has been promised, though it is looking kind of unlikely at the moment.

    20. @vauhtikatti Yeah, I really wish I'd gotten the original muscle girl body because I'll probably never see one now.
