I got a reply to my e-mail (didn't contact them on DoA yet btw, saw Walter's reply and decided not to bother them any more than I already was XD), and thought their answer interesting:

Dear Sno4wy,

Our current promotion is only for "Fly me to the moon" series and it includes Jupiter, Isaac, Alice and Vivian.
We will release new Elder Men and Women heads with each two types soon before the promotion finish. One of Men heads will be Jin type which we released once before so it’ll be Re-released with the other new head.
We will also release New Series in the future and when it once release our current promotion will be finished.
It’s also possible to order and deposit money through PayPal first and then change the head part later when the new heads release.

i like jin in both sp and opened eyes ver. but i am not that into muscular body
am wondering what clothes can he fix in.. eid seems too big but sid's shoulder wont fix i bet?

 

I'm the opposite! I love the body but I don't like any of the heads. XD

 

Do you think they can help us to split up our order?

 

Hmm, probably not, although I don't see why we can't do it through DoA directly. I wanna wait and see what the new Elder heads they're going to release look like, but I've been thinking about posting a split request in the marketplace for this very reason.

 

I am normally a lurker but I an so excited I had to share here, I placed a split request and found a buyer for a girl head so I am able to bring home the girl b type body for my warrior woman! I hope to put an angelsdoll lucia head on the body to create a strong fighter character! If anyone has more pictures of the girl b body I would love to see them as I'm sure this is going to be a hard wait!

EEEEEEE! You can buy head and body separately now! I've been wanting several of their heads for some time now, but not the body....now to find the funds to order 3 heads. >.<;;

 

Ordered Alice in natural tan with the B body back on Tuesday. The Elder B body is everything I was hoping the HID woman from Iplehouse would be. THOSE ABS.

No real plans for her yet, though it might be fun to make her into a female banchō.

 

Now they released another two female head sculpts: Canary and Canary Cute. Is the name because she is smiling like the cat that caught the canary? Interesting and a bit unusual looking. Hmm. Dimples - I don't think I have seen those on a BJD adult head before.

 

Oh my gosh I am head over heels in love with Canary Cute. She is the girl of my dreams!

 

Yes, I reeeeeally like her a bunch!

 

@Dreadfulme Now I just have to figure out how to afford her. Are you thinking of bringing one home?

 

Yeah i love the separate sale and love a lot Canary new mold, seriously. She reminds me a little of Coco Rocha, maybe i have a soft soft spot for mold that showing teeth, i like her a lot, i must say that price of the body itself is darn good, now i'm in deep trouble! :

I just realized that when I saw your avatar again @Dreadfulme ! Sorry for being a bit slow with that! But yes. . . somehow we must find a way! I'm going to have to read the reviews of these bodies while I try to decide.

 

Let me just say the elder bodies are wonderful IRL ^^
They pose beautifully, and I adore how realistic they look. Can't say enough good things about them.

I would caution however that if you aren't into a very realistic style they may not appeal to you. Also the feet are large thus very hard to find shoes for and And the muscle body has very wide shoulders.

Other then that most 65cm girl clothing/etc fits them well ^^

Thanks for the help @Yuna-Ki ! I have some unrealistic dolls but overall I'm way into realism. I sew for all my dolls and already have some large and hard to fit sizes so it's not a problem for me. I am most concerned with the functionality of the bodies because they are unquestionably beautiful. I just don't want to think about bringing home a doll who doesn't stand and sit well or have a little flexibility, basic stuff, but sometimes I'm still disappointed.

Truly my problem is just that I said only yesterday "no unnecessary purchases!" because I'm about to have to pay my car insurance for the next 6 months again. So we'll see, but I'm going to lurk in this thread hoping someone has pictures to share every now and then at least.

I could theoretically buy her but I don't want the layaway to stress me out so I am trying to see another way. I even thought about just letting her go completely but ugh the sadness... I really don't want to not have those dimples. She's so serene.

Yuna-Ki: Thank you so much for the info. I will definitely go with the A body if I get this girl.... I am really excited to hear how realistic she is! Nervous about the feet but I will buy the heels if I get her... I wish I could get the clear resin heels. I really don't want them in white.
