Not counting paper white I currently only own one fantasy colored doll and thats Aspen my Bobobie Moony. She's in their lavender skin and I absolutely love the color. I would really like to get a few more fantasy colors in the future if I can find the right doll/color combo. Unfortunately I think I am more picky when it comes to fantasy skin tones than I am the more natural ones. I would love to find a few different tinies in fantasy colors to help populate my doll Myca's world but so far I've only seen one doll that screamed out to me that I plan on ordering and they're off topic here.
I’d love to see dolls in a plum colour! That perfect mix between red and purple XD Or a more grey purple. I really like muted fantasy colours that could almost be natural tones ^^
So for fantasy coloured dolls I have 1purple (not here yet), 1 light blue body, 2 electric blue dolls to be dyed, 1eventual green girl, 1 eventual red girl, one girl with eventually a red tail, 1 grey girl and her grey brother planned, a vibrantly teal girl waiting for a body, and an obsidian twigling coming sometime. what I’ve noticed is that I really prefer vibrant fantasy colours to the more typical muted ones. My teal head is shockingly teal. Like you could highlight with her colour. All of my dye projects are also getting vivid results—electric blue and red. I’ve owned more muted colours (like the Lillycat ‘dark purple’) and I didn’t like it as much as I like the looks of the more vivid twigling purple. Greys are also fun because you can use other colours to really make them pop—my current grey girl wears white, because she’s pale grey and looks white in more colourful clothes, and her faceup is very inhuman (golden skull paint). Blue really is my weakness though, if I can get something in blue, I seem to go for it…
purple for sure but I also like blue and really any fantasy skin is good, I love a colorful collection!
I actually really love mint, but don't own any in that color. I've got a Kinokojuice in lavender, and another doll in a deep plum color, and a Frappzilla Moon on layaway in lilac.
i would LOVE a grey skinned doll. But the shade of grey i want is darker than you can normally buy, so i probably have to dye one myself (not that i mind, just nervous about it) Would love a purple or mint one too ^^
I have to say that while I don't have a colour preference, I seem to be strongly drawn to yellow when it's offered. I particularly like Pipos and Dearmine yellows. I think those two companies always have very appealing fantasy colours and I like a lot of them, but when there is yellow in the line up, that's the colour that I seem to like the most. I haven't got a fantasy yellow doll yet but wouldn't be surprised if I did end up with one somewhere along the line
Greys are soooo interesting! There’s just something about them! Immmaking mine into a modern day Gargoyle. I used to love the show!
Some of the fantasy coloured resins out there are amazing. Look at the amazing colours Cuartosdolls offer. I am also a fan of transparent resin. The transparent tails on FL seahorse and Sugarble naga is what attracted me to them.
For fantasy colors I am very drawn to the muted mint, lavender, and grays. However, I do LOVE when people dye their dolls ink black. I personally think that it's a huge challenge to style them, but with gold/white details; they can look so otherworldly.
I love dolls that are like a clear matte resin but they are super uncommon because they are so hard to cast. The only one I have seen is a Popovy sisters doll. I would love to have one and it will take me a while to save up enough money but it's worth it.
Definitely blue! I only have one blue doll so far, and would really like to get another at some point in the future, both light and darker shades would be great
I love lavenders and the pastel blues. I also really like the bright yellow resin I've seen from some companies.
