Fat bottom girls or busty babes?

I'm definitely more into thicker hips than bigger busts. I actually love dolls that have thick hips and thighs and almost no bust (like Lillycat dolls)

 

Most of my dolls are flat or have subtle hourglass figures. That said, I enjoy and have made outfits with prominent bustles.

 

I absolutely love pear-shaped bodies with small chests. There's something just so cute about having those chunky thighs and hips but a small, delicate torso. I think there could be way more room for more distinguished body shapes in the BJD market though, I get bored seeing the same hourglass/pear-shape as much as I like them...

 

I have mostly male dolls. I definitely don't like huge chests on female dolls because I don't want them to look disproportionate and it's also harder to find clothes that fit well, I've found. I don't pay any attention to their bottoms at all. They're getting covered up by clothes and either sitting down on them or standing with their backs to the wall. lol

 

I think the most difficult part would be making the patterns, especially for stuff like pants and leggings. But if you stick to skirts, dresses, etc, probably wouldn't be that big of an issue. Just make sure you make lots of room for the hips when making back closures/hems.

 

I think there are not so many sculpts/dolls that have a natural human body i like them to have a healthy look and normal to bigger bust.

 

Love some thick thigh girls but I just worry about finding good fitting clothes to fit their style?? Literally only thing holding me back from getting a big booty gal

 

I really love villitunes sculpts because of their adorably bottom heavy shape! I don't really like large chests but I love me some thick thighs

 

well, i like curvy bottoms. but, i also like medium to big busts, but not too big that they lose the pear-shaped figure...

 

I actually got myself a pns liz too when she first came out but I got her with the small bust and then just ordered all the parts madeline has . The lg bust,paws,heels. So i could switch things out and see what would fit her character.She even came with extra arms and hands because i had a issue with her right elbow. They didnt sand it enough at the factory. simple fix plus bonus extra parts. She is incredibly i love the curves too. Even the small bust is sexy its them curves.no matter what shes very feminine. With that said ill actually be selling mine as im trying to limit my collection.But your right she is very loveable.

 

Well, depending on size of the doll some thing can be just gotten a size bigger and fixed =) or you can just buy custom, Instagram is reach of doll fashionistas that actually have reasonable prices =)
As for small dolls with curves - many people have lots of luck putting them in Blythe clothes apparently. They're often just designed very roomy and/or frilly, but undoubtedly cute

 

Thats True. Plus im sure the tops for dolls like monster high would fit the smaller chest for liz or madelines body.

Don’t forget Momoni/Momonita and her lovely caboose! Barbie tops are visibly too large in the bust (for Momonita) and forget non-stretchy Barbie pants. Still, I love her figure and how it contrasts with my small bust MYOU girl (who doesn’t have any curves to speak of) and my soul doll girl (whose exaggerated hourglass means she wears Victorian attire wonderfully).

 

Neither for me! I like the more simplistic waifish or childish bodies, too much volume either end really doesn't suit the aesthetic I like. Volks SD10 body is my favourite of all time

 

Mishi's Doll Murphy has wonderfully large hips. I think the rest of her body is beautifully sculpted as well, but she has some issues posing. I've had to suede and restring her to get her to pose nicely. Rapp1993's Danni also has great hips but I haven't seen her in person yet. I like big butts and I cannot lie

I prefer thin girls with a fat bottom. Dollzone and Doll Chateau create what i like.
