1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Favorite company?

May 26, 2014

    1. So far my favorites are Elfdoll (for heads only... I dont like the body)
Ringdolls and Soom, even though all the dolls I want are sold out...

Basically if the doll is unavailable its probably one of my favorites..... :(

    2. Popovy, Doll Chateau, and Serenade doll- I'm really into a long, slim aesthetic.

    3. I really love dollshe iplehouse and soom so far as the proportion seems more realistic: head to body. I wish i could go back in time to pick up some of the limited dolls and outfits that are now soldout.

    4. Volks is my all-time favorite, but I also REALLY love Unoa... & Iplehouse... & SOOM... >.>

    5. Dollzone hands down. A close second would have to be Dollshe. These are two companies that have had several dolls I've liked and wanted.

    6. My favorite BJD company at the moment would have to be Supiadollz. Their girls are beautifully crafted and are very realistic looking. Their bodies are also aesthetically beautiful.

    7. My favorite company was ElfDoll I have five of their sculps. but they no longer do large dolls and I heard that Rainman was doing other dolls somewhere. I like DOD,Iplehouse,Limwha, and Mystic Kids.

    8. My favorite companies are Pipos - I love love their PI Jr. PI lines. I also love the old Delf CP sculpts. I tend to really love the BBB/RS minis, so I would probably put them as one of my top favorites.

    9. It's between Pipos and Noble Dolls for me.

    10. My faves now are Iplehouse, I like the variety of realistic faces and their body sculpts. Now I have KID of IH and definitely I'm going to have more IH in future

    11. I love Switch, Withdoll, recently Winterrain and Oceanmoon earned my heart too

    12. I've owned dolls from Luts, Iplehouse, and Soom so far and had pretty good experience with all 3 companies. I think Soom has to be my favourite of the 3, the sculpts are really gorgeous and the size of their dolls match my preference. Iplehouse dolls are so realistic and beautiful but to big for my tastes, I've only ever owned their EID and JID sized dolls though. Luts is the first company I purchased from but it's been a while since I've taken any interest in their newer dolls.

    13. Little Monica!
They've got that semi-realistic look similar to DollZone, DoD, and other companies which I simply adore. I also like how their dolls all have little stories to them too, it's almost like getting a peek at what they had in mind when creating them. Just looking at how expressive some of their sculpts are never fails to inspire.

    14. I'm so torn between BJD companies, it's hard to pick a favorite.
But if I had to, I'd say my favorite company is Leekeworld. They have so many gorgeous sculpts, especially 1/3 dolls. I like how their focus on bodies is more on visual appeal than pose ability, which is where my priorities lie as well. Their resin is good quality and during sale periods, like now, their dolls are very reasonably priced.
Also Leekeworld sells the best wigs.

    15. Oceanmoon and Bluefairy are my favorites. Oceanmoon is always a real joy to interact with, providing thoughtful customer care, strict perfectionist standards, and very high quality in their designs and full sets. Bluefairy (& Minoruworld) dolls have super versatile and expressive qualities! Not to mention the nicest fans and collectors to talk to. Very kind and loyal to their Bluefairies and one another.

As for wigs, I love the selection of Leeke, but Licht impresses me more due to their fit and craftsmanship.

    16. My favourite company so far is ResinSoul. I have a few of their sculpts and there are several more on my wishlist I am saving for. Although all the sculpts I have ordered so far have white skin, I am interested in the grey skin as well and love the skin choices they offer...choices choices :dance

    17. My favorite companies are Soom and Doll Chateau because I think their dolls are beautiful and I hope to own some one day!

    18. DollZone and Doll Chateau

    19. I only have one doll so I can only go on looks at this point... But I have to say Iplehouse is my favorite.

    20. I like Dearmine the best. Their sculpts are so cute, and the company is so nice! :)

I like Paper Sakura Group's sculpts well, too.
