Favorite company?

I like the Volks faces and the SD17 body a lot. They have amazingly consistent resin colors, too. (Something I wish Soom would have.) And the dolls have a solid weight to them. The company is often bad at styling and photographing their dolls, so owner's pictures often look better than the company photos. I've used the full choice system a few times at dollpas, in person when the us store took orders in person, and through Domuya (an older defunct company that took Volks FCS online) and always enjoyed the build-your-own-doll experience.

Soom does have a lot of irons in the fire, but they make some really creative dolls.

 

I actually have to thikn hard on that one. I guess I wouldn't say I have a favorite size?

Sculpt wise- I like more KDFs than I do of any of the larger sizes. (Proven by the fact that 13/14 of my MSD size dolls are KDF heads)
I dislike the model delf heads, however their bodies are flipping amazing. I love my Cian, but his head is so tiny Lol. I've started to hybrid them all instead because seriously, the female model delf body with the type 2 arms is the bes tthing ever invented.


I PREFER SD size however. And Luts does make super amazing sculpts, but I have to nitpick through them a little more? Plus I prefer the delf size, but hate that there is no double joint body made. My delf arwen might end up getting an upgrade to a senior delf body if that never gets remedied, but her size is so perfect already ;0;


I do not like YoSD size dolls or smaller (I like to look, not to own. I've tried. Lol)

 

Resinsoul hands down is the best (for me) great dolls that have gorgeous sculpting, and interesting faces and their at an amazing price point. Plus the amazing customer service they have and their wait times aren't bad at all. And honestly I prefer emailing Sun directly when it comes to ordering. RS also does layaway which is great and they do all kinds of custom stuff no questions asked and even cast in resin colors completely custom if you send them a pantone swatch of what you would like. Plus they recently started doing translucent resin with the release of their centaur dolls.

On top of that - you want a crazy awesome modded doll? Sun will do ANYTHING you want, literally anything including doing the mods himself for you. I've seen four armed dolls, I have a hybrid from them (Bei head on Zi body for double jointedness) and I've seen a lot of dolls with translucent hands or hands that don't normally come on that body. You want a centaur with translucent hooves, a specifically colored deer butt and four arms and a third eye? They'll do it. They even will do sleeping heads custom cast.

migidoll fo shore! great for beginners too cause they are really good communicators :O their quality and range is also impressive, although they are frequently sold out of most accessories

 

Seconding Migidoll! I am a sucker for their face sculpts and the noses their boys have ♡ Also Migi-nim is as sweet as can be and has always responded to my inquiries promptly and affably. I enjoy SWITCH because they have a terrific sense of humor—anyone seen their doll owner manual? It's hilarious.
While I have never bought from them personally, I would say Granado and Harucasting seem like terrific companies too, because they make themselves very approachable and transparent via their social media channels, which makes them seem more like people and less of an business entity.

 

I like Volks resin quality, part options, and love for their customers. Volks dolls are also extremely versatile and customize well! They have a lot of sculpts, but they they take faceups so well that it's easy to make them look original!

 

My favorite companys are Doll Chateau and Dollzone for their unique and creativ style. I adore most of their sculpts.

Ringdoll - i love their Horror themed dolls like Jack the Ripper, Frankenstein, Norman, Dorian Grey etc. I am not a big fan of their newer sculpts and i hope they will continue making Horror dolls.

Dollpamm has very cute dolls and I hope i am able to buy my first soon. It will be a Shota boy Shark

Dollmore - so many pretty fullset dolls and high quality. And they have many diffrent styles and the big Trinity girls!!!

Soom - really beautiful fantasy dolls and outfits

Other companys i love are Souldoll, Loong Soul, Doll Family H (Gabriel!!!), Pipos and Dearmine.

 

Soom and Angell-Studio

 

I think my favorites would have to be Smart Doll and Crobidoll. I only have a smart doll right now but Crobidoll has my grail so... :P For Crobidoll something just draws me in. I dunno. It feels like they are people. Smart doll I love because the innocence on their face. Plus they are just too cute!

 

My first and only one BJD is IOS. I also like Soom.

 

SWITCH definitely tops my list of favorite companies! Close contenders are Crobi Doll, Luts, and Little Monica.

Supiadoll, Soom, and Little Monica are my current favorites!

 

I haven't actually received any of the dolls I've ordered yet! But based purely off aesthetics from photos I've seen during my research, I would have to say Doll Chateau/Zone, Pathos Tale and Loongsoul. SOOM dolls look wonderful as well, but I'm a little put off by some of the stories I've heard re. quality/service. Sorry, can't actually pick a favourite!

I find the Fairyland dolls beautiful as well, but perhaps a little too cutesy for my taste.

I also adore artist dolls and Triffony Artwork and Magic Mirror dolls would have to top that list. The Seed Arts Wol is fantastic too, and Popovy dolls are exquisite.

And I love the fact that Resinsoul are apparently so accommodating to their customers and willing to do bespoke orders.

Basically I just like everything...goodbye money.

 

Current favs (I own multiples from each company)--

Iplehouse -- for (relatively) fast production, high quality, ease of purchase, responsive cs, realistic sculpts, beautiful, well-made outfits and shoes and accessories.

Soom -- for gorgeous fantasy-themed sculpts and beautiful humans, gorgeous outfits, good quality everything, ease of purchase.

Dearmine -- for cute anthros that I can't seem to resist, reasonable waits, high quality, ease of purchase (also through domestic agent DDE), nice finishing touches with padding bags and boxes, just a great experience all around.

Granado -- for wonderful male character sculpts in realistic style, beautiful muscle body, quality-production time-cs-all very good.

--many, many other companies are high on my list, though. Most companies are very good and accommodating with fantastic sculpts!

 

In alphabetical order; Blue Fairy, Daydream, Pipos, Volks!

- I love the concepts and sculpts, stuffs of Blue Fairy, same to Daydream.
- Though fantasy themed dolls are not my favorite ones, I love old sclupts of Pipos as well - includes my own tiny girl.
- I thought I'm not into Volks but I realized that most of my favorite sculpts are from Volks lol well, I like their clothes too.

I like Dollpamm and Darak too.

 

I only have 3 different places I'd like to have a doll from. Iplehouse, Raccoondoll and any of Natalia Loseva dolls. The Natalia Loseva dolls I can just dream of.

 

I think my tastes have changed a bit since I last replied to this a while ago.
My love for Dikadoll still stands but I have grown a love for DollChateau and Migidoll. They would have to be my favorites.

 

I have a bias for Ringdoll. I love so many of their sculpts, and their special limited doll sets are always really creative. I always say if I was only allowed to ever buy from a single company it would be Ringdoll! That said, though, I also really like some of the sculpts I've seen from Loongsoul, Asleep Eidolon, and Soom.

 

Souldoll because I got my first doll from them and their sculpts are just wonderfully striking. Fairyland has amazing engineering, I can see myself making many hybrids with their bodies. Volks dolls have lovely faces too, I find myself super captivated by their sculpts (usually the limited ones though lmao). And Angell-Studio makes ridiculously beautiful elegant dolls, and they're super friendly, allowing me to order a head by itself that was out of stock!
