Favorite company?

After decade in hobby and having many different dolls my fav company is Volks. I think they never disappoint and, not as some other companies, care about quality. Through years they only got better.

 

I love animal sculpts so for me, companies and artists like Cocoriang, Pipos, Dearmine and Nympheas Dolls are perfect for me.

 

Iplehouse and Dollzone. I say this because I own more dolls from them than any other company. I love the IH aesthetic, and I like the DZ bodies. I have dolls from most of the major doll companies and there are good things I can say about all of them, tho.
One big criteria other than the actual dolls (sculpts, engineering of the body, quality of the resin, etc) is ease of ordering. This is something I truly love about IH. It is SUPER easy to navigate their website, they have dolls available for anyone with the cash, their limited dolls aren't the only ones they market, and they've got a quick turn-around (3 months or so). No lotteries, no waiting for 9 months, plenty of standard sculpts, decent customer service - just excellent!
I can't say I've actually dealt w/DZ because I've gotten all my DZ resin thru dealers, BTW. Still, that's very easy since there are multiple DZ dealers. That's important to me. I am NOT a fan of labyrinthine ordering processes at ALL.

 

I have 39 dolls and 19 of them were sculpted by Cerberous Project, either when they were with Luts or as Fairyland Which includes both my first doll purchase and most recent!

 

I don't think that any doll brand is particularly "bad" or "undesirable". It's up to personal opinion. If you like the doll, and can afford it then go for it. Personally tho I find myself liking alot of Volks sculpts. I've been in the hobby for some time and have had dolls from numerous different brands and all of them so far I have liked but right now Volks seems to have my interest. However knowing me that can change in a heartbeat.

 

I am all over the place with heads, but my fave company for bodies seems to be Luts. Luts heads don't do much for me, though.

I also really like the sculpture and quality of Dollshe, but I only have one Dollshe doll.

 

My favorite company is definitely Fairyland. I'm a fan of a majority of their sculpts. I also love Little Monica, Luts and Dreaming Doll!

 

My top three favorite companies are Peakswoods, Xagadoll, and Charm doll!

 

Iplehouse, Dollmore, and Volks

 

Resinsoul is my favorite, they're the company I want the most sculpts from! Plus, they do custom colors and alterations for a decent fee, they go above and beyond to give you the doll you want, I've not seen their dolls have horrible seam lines (at least not in recent years). They're just all around great!

 

This is a loaded question, because this could be favorite doll accessory company ie clothing,shoes, wigs, eyes. Or it could be doll in general. Then, for me what is the doll made of? Though for argument sake lets go for doll maker company. I am partial to volks, I really need to branch out more, as I have seen and bought other doll companies. I really like Sadol, it's just there are soo many small companies that may go unheard of. Yet some doll companies I like I just cant fork over the cash for them, Luts, Impldoll, Soul doll, BG Doll. The other thing is that a lot of the companies do short sales, and you can't find the doll you want brand new. I know this is a situation all on it's own.

 

Crobidoll and Doll Leaves at the moment.

 

I just ordered by first bjd from Myou and I do really like many of their sculpts... but can we just stop for a second and appreciate the MaskcatDolls? They are beautiful, I already love a couple of their dolls... If I end up deciding that this hobby is for me I will definitely get my 2nd doll from them. And maybe 3rd as well since their heads are quite affordable so I might end up hybrydising.

The only problem is that most of their dolls that I like are 1/3... and I prefer smaller dolls. I wish there were half sizes in bjd, it seems so difficult to match dolls of different sizes.

 

At the moment it's Little Monica and Volks!

 

I very much like dolls Volks, MYOU, Bambicrony and Rosenlied

 

It constantly changes but for now its Volks

 

I think overall I like iMda dolls the best! The most beautiful, unique sculpts

 

I love Resinsoul dolls so much! Their customer service is fantastic, and their quality is amazing. I already have three Resinsoul dolls and plan to get more!

 

I'm just a newbie for this hobby. But for me right now, Ringdoll and Fairyland. I love the sculps of Ringdoll so much, they have the mixture between fantasy and real at the same time.

 

Luts is probably my overall favorite company.
