Favorite Eyes!

My favourite eyemaker ever is ashuradarkeyes on etsy! I have quite a few of her eyes including a couple custom pairs!

 

I love Luts' eyes! They look amazing and are very affordable.

 

Those are really lovely! I rather like the design in the green ones. Both look super vibrant though!

 

i love Oscar Doll and Swan Doll eyes cuz they're shiny and sparkly. the gem eyes are so pretty to me.

I’ve had quite a few custom made ones from her too and she’s such a lovely person. She also sells via instagram too, don’t have that link handy sorry.
As all of her eyes have quite a metallic or glittery base they’re not suitable for every style and I do have one pair (“Sugared Pecan”) that reflect light in an annoying manner making photographing them tricky but if you’re looking for fantasy eyes that don’t break the bank they are well worth considering.

I’d love to have some of the absolutely breathtaking more realistic eye styles that have emerged over the past few years from makers such as Tianba. Maybe one day!

All my eyes come from https://www.instagram.com/jiaoba98/ with this one being my favorite pair! Tried a couple other eye makers but they don't hit the sweet spot like jiaoba's do. I do love the use of two colors and I couldn't imagine my dolls without them.

 

For resin eyes, my favourite is from a Korean company called Swandoll.



For glass eyes, my favourite is a Japanese brand called Keikonamioka.

 

I'd love some recommendations for 8-10mm eyes which have a 3-4mm iris. They're so hard to find.

I know CandyWorld on etsy has some but other suggestions would be super helpful.

 

Maybe Blythe Pan Doll on Etsy? Their eyes aren't cheap but I like the customised pair that I got.

 

I love dollmore's eyes! They make the glass eyes so beautiful! Their price is also reasonable.

I just got my first few pairs of ashura eyes and I'm completely blown away with how beautiful they are. Highly recommended! The shipping was also very fast, considering they came from halfway around the world.

 

My favorites have always been Mako eyes. They're bright and clear like glass eyes, and if you don't get them too dark, they catch the light very well and are great for photographing. Also the irises tend to be a bit smaller in the eye than most of the acrylic or glass eyes I've used, so there's less gapping when I want a smaller iris. And they're surprisingly low dome for the amount of dimension you get in the eye, which also decreases gapping.

I've also come to like the Souldoll dynamic eyes. I thought I would never get used to them, and it took a while, but I'm warming up to them more and more.

Enchanted are my favourite. The ones on my account pic are twinkly brown basic. I have two sets of marble eyes one in Eucalyptus and one Grace blue which are superb. So realistic but hideously expensive!

 

I'm not really into companies yet. My first dolls were from gem Of Doll and I finally feel comfortable enough to order eyes and do something new with them. Even then, it feels like diffusing a nuke.
