1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Favorite Mini model?

Aug 11, 2009

    1. I like the childish looking dolls, yes. I think it's a throwback to my porcelain dolls from when I was little. They all looked like three to eight years old, in fancy clothes. If I want an older looking doll, I can just get a 1/6 model one, really. Though there was a couple 1/3 model dolls I wanted, they're waaay beyond my means at the moment. I'm also sort of considering the Shushu model Minifee, now, and... gah there are so many adorable ones! I think I just like the idea of taking a little kid looking doll and making them adorable.

Your dolls are cute! I like the robot. Did she come like that or did you modify her? ...Also, you can really tell the Korean dolls, they have a more... I dunno. They look Korean. Like they're actually trying to make them look like real kids instead of stylized anime looking. It's something different, and neat.

    2. Machina was designed to be a robot and I had her custom painted by the factory artist.
When I started in the hobby I was definitely searching for the more realistic and Asian-looking dolls and did find them from the Korean companies.
But my Machina and my one SD boy (Lume Saiph) are actually from American companies.

    3. i'm going to buy a mini to ! but i find it realy hard to find the right one i found some i realy like but i still cant decide .

these are the 2 i'm thinking of :
      - demi from dollzone (i realy like that she smiles)
      -kimi from dollzone

    4. I know, the ones who look pouty bug me. I like happy, or at least curious or neutral faced dolls. Those are cute! :)

...Also I'm halfway pondering a minifee or pukifee now. x.x Ugh, so many options...

    5. My favorite model is Shoyo cause I love my first girl more than anything. She looks VERY different from any other Shoyo I've seen and I have so many darn pictures of her it's sad. My close second is the F-01 MSD head from Volks, in particular Myu. All of Myu's pictures have always made me smile.

    6. Volks - original and beautiful proportion. But since they are hard to get my favourite now is peak's woods.
