Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. The postman made a weirdo mistake about sending my package back to her even though he never sent it to me, but she informed me and sent it back after confirming the address was right and even paid for that second shipping fee. I also got a super cute extra so I'm absolutely thrilled.
      Communication was great, packaging was great, everything was well-done! I definitely recommend her!

    20. I first contacted amb2730 about joining a split in a Group Order that she had listed in September. Near the beginning of October, she sent me an invoice, which I promptly paid. And then I settled in to wait.

      She never once posted details on the split thread as to when she was planning to close or place the order, so a couple of weeks later I sent her a message asking for more details, which she did respond to. The order was placed sometime in the beginning of November. I say "sometime" because, again, she did not post details for any of the participants. We were never told the order date, the payment confirmation date, or even the order number.

      After being asked multiple times in the GO thread for updates, she finally began posting more or less weekly that she hadn't heard anything. Now, I took this to mean that she was logging in to the Fairyland website and checking on the status there...it seems, unfortunately, that I was wrong.

      Working with rough estimates of the order being placed in early November, and even factoring in an extra few weeks for the Event period and the holiday season, we should reasonably have been expecting the order to ship sometime around the end of January. A few of the participants were, understandably, a bit antsy and impatient--as we all tend to get when we know the wait's almost over--so we started asking for updates again. I finally got to the point yesterday morning of asking for the exact date of order confirmation from amb2730, so we could better calculate when we might expect the order to ship.

      Yesterday evening, I received notification of my payment being refunded. I quickly logged on to DoA to see what was going on, because I was mightily confused, but there were no PMs, no emails, no attempt to contact myself or any of the other participants outside of this post on the GO thread:

      Even if Fairyland dropped the ball, there is no way the mistake could have gone undetected for so long without there being some fault on this side of the ocean.

      Yes, I did get my money back. I'll never get the two and a half months I've been waiting back, though.

      And the part that really concerns me is that amb2730 has apparently realized that there has been a problem for at least a week, and did not see fit to tell any of the GO participants.

      There are also a few points that bother me, such as her stating that there was an issue with the order under the Fairyland Layaway program? To my knowledge, Fairyland does not have a Layaway program. And the very idea that the issue could have gone on so long without being noticed tells me that she wasn't really checking the status of the order at all.

      I do appreciate that amb2730 refunded our money so quickly, but it was done completely unexpectedly. I had no idea there was even an issue, and thought--as I had for the last two and a half months--that everything was going smoothly. However, the stunning lack of communication has left me baffled. I have a certain expectation from group orders, both for communication and completion. The glowing feedback in this thread led me to believe I could expect something similar.

      Unfortunately, I will be putting amb2730 on my personal "do not buy from" list. I hope that others have better luck than I did in her Group Orders but I would prefer the have as much information as possible to make that decision.
