Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. The Good:

      Just bought a Shiwoo head from femaleichigo. It was well-packed and arrived in a pretty timely manner. Her communication was excellent throughout the transaction.

      The not-so-great:

      She did overcharge me for shipping by quite a bit. I looked up the exchange rate and found it cost about ten dollars less to ship the head to me than what she charged. Three or four dollars over is fine. Ten is a little extreme.

      The head was very dirty when I opened it, and even after a thorough scrubbing with a magic eraser sponge, it's still showing areas where the dirt won't come off, especially around in his face where I think the MSC might have adhered it. There is also some massive wig staining around his head. It goes halfway down his forehead in one spot. The pictures I saw didn't show any of this clearly, and none of this was mentioned in the sales thread. He'll probably be needing a new faceup to get rid of the dirt and stains.

      I understand that dolls get handled a lot, and I'm this one's third owner now. A little dirt buildup and staining is natural. I would have bought him, anyway, because I've been looking for a Shiwoo head for awhile, but she should have told me about the staining on prinicple, if nothing else.

      I'd probably buy from femaleichigo again. I don't think she was deliberately intending to be dishonest and withhold information or anything. I'd just be sure to ask more questions about the condition of the doll next time (and perhaps haggle on shipping a bit).
