1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Feedback for Shamps

May 3, 2008

    1. I participated in a CROBI-DOLL GO run by Shamps.

Everything went well and I received everything I ordered.

Communication was a little weak, due to her internet being on the blink.

Shipping was a little slow, due to snowstorms and internet.

Since I was in no hurry, these were not problems for me. And I do appreciate her for running the GO. I'm sure they are not easy things to run! THANKS.

    2. I participated in the Soom Eliv split hosted by Shamps; my eyes arrived last week and I'm very happy with them! Thank you! :)

    3. Neutral Feedback for Shamps

I participated in Shamp's recent Crobidoll GO. I am glad that in the end everything was received or refunded for. There were several issues which I will clarify on below, and most of them were beyond Shamp's control. I am giving neutral feedback not due to the things she had no control over, but due to lags in communication and missing pieces of information that may have helped alleviate some unease when problems arose.

There was issues with receiving messages and several times where communication went absent for a few days at a time. To my understanding, this was due to whether issues in Shamps area, which also caused delays in shipping. Crobidoll also seemed to have communication issues, as well as not sending everything that was ordered which ultimately ended in them having to refund Shamps and Shamps having to redistribute those funds to those who's items did not show up.

For such rather grating issues, some things I would have liked to have seen from Shamps were clearer updates, such as giving the participants the Order Number after it was placed and updating the thread when the package was in transit (we had been waiting for some time and were not updated until the package had arrived.) I know some of this was due to the weather causing internet problems, but some things seemed unclear to me and made me a little nervous, particularly considering many recent marketplace issues.

In the end, everything came out just fine. Just in the future, I will probably look elsewhere for GO hosts so I don't begin to worry or dread what's going on.
