Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     5. I bought a Sard with Sphaler dragon legs/feet from Shin over a layaway sometime last year (2010). The initial transaction was very easy and communication was always friendly, prompt and I was always well informed, in particular with delays in shipping, so that was all cool.

      Unfortunately when the box arrived to me, it was pretty crushed. Some of the unassembled parts came free of the bubble wrap they were in and were rolling around freely in the extra space of the box. With that, of course, the Sphaler dragon feet were damaged; a chipped off scale and a broken talon. I personally didn’t find the packaging for the doll was sufficient, but since I have no pictures of the actual box opening process and that according to Shin’s sales rules, she is not responsible for damages that are incurred during shipping, I’ll just leave that there.

      I had informed Shin about the damage as soon as I received him to which she immediately tried to file a claim. Ever since August of 2010, we had been chasing down the aid of our postal services (mostly on her part because Canada Post requires that the sender be the one to file claims on lost/damaged items). The Spanish post had decided to not inform her until today that they don’t even cover insurance for damaged items, only losses. I thank Shin for holding out with me this long only to hear bad news. Her persistence to find a resolution is commendable.

      In short, while the aforementioned problem did occur due to the somewhat inadequate packaging, Shin did do her best in trying to come to a solution so it was an overall okay transaction.
