Due to my buying experience with Shuga Youko, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them as a seller.
On February 25th 2016, I came across Shuga Youko's clothing thread for a SOOM Topaz outfit which was described as being in "perfect condition".
I paid $234 through Paypal and Shuga Youko sent me a tracking number a few days later which was great.
The dress arrived on March 4th and unfortunately I was disappointed its condition.

An eyelet ring from one of the corset lacing holes was missing on the dress, and it turned up in a small bag along with the Topaz jewellery.
What bothered me the most was not that the dress was damaged, but the fact Shuga Youko was aware of the damage and chose not to disclose it.
Of course I understand that imperfections can be over looked, but the ring had been so deliberately packed with the jewellery, I don't see how it's possible Shuga Youko did not know about it. If she did not know of the damage prior to packing the dress for me, surely she would have afterwards.
She had an obligation to disclose the damage to her buyer.

Shuga Youko replied to my message promptly and expressed her disappointment in my dissatisfaction with the dress, she also said "About the corset ring, my mistake for not letting you know about it! I unpacked to take pics and packed it again, I was in a rush. I'm really really sorry! I was hoping the dress would make you happy". I replied to her again, asking why it was not disclosed and I again reinforced the fact that she described the dress as being in "perfect condition".

I did not receive a reply so I sent another message. Shugo Youko replied and apologized again, but offered no resolution.
I did not pursue the matter any further and all communication ceased on both sides. The dress is still beautiful and the corset still "functions" but it was very expensive and it is most certainly not in "perfect condition".

I have waited a long time to leave feedback for several reasons; to allow time for a resolution to be reached, to give myself some time for emotions to settle, to be fair and think logically.

 

I purchased a lovely dress from Shuga Youko and the transaction was splendid. Not only was she a joy to talk to and deal with, but she shipped the dress (a custom commission on her part from Silje's Boutique) immediately, wonderfully packaged, but she was sweet enough to include a beautiful necklace as an extra for my Lumeriel.

I would absolutely recommend purchasing from Shuga Youko and would not hesitate to do so again. She's very kind, wonderful to talk with, and a great member of this hobby. ^_^
