Jisatsu Did The Face Up For My Souldoll Lun (Kamalei) & I Couldnt Be More Happy. He Looks Better Then Anything I Could Have Ever Expected. I Gave Her A Brief Description About What I Wanted But She Went All Kinds Of Awesome On His Head & Now He Is Super Cute. jisatsu did absolutely beautiful face ups on my dollshe saint and soom heliot. she was quick and sent progress photos to make sure i was happy with it before she sealed it, paid close attention to details and does amazing flawless work. i am very pleased with my dolls new looks thank you jisatsu

 

I really, really can't say enough good things about doing business with Jisatsu. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I enjoyed having her work on my girls faceup from start to finish. I was so happy with the finished faceup and can't thank her enough!

 

I guess this could be considered neutral feedback, leaning on the side of good.

First let me get the the not-so-great out of the way.

I commissioned a two-layer kimono (plus Obi) from Jisatsu, had details worked out, then was told to pay for the entire price of the kimono in full before work was begun. Nothing about paying the full price beforehand was mentioned in her thread, so I was a bit blindsided. I was expecting to pay, at most, a non-refundable deposit for maybe 25% to 50% of the entire cost and the rest after work was finished. It's fine that I had to pay it in full, but a little forewarning on her thread would have been nice.

Now, I ordered this kimono back at the beginning of October and it was only just completed this week. Communication was okay, but I usually had to instigate it to get any updates. Unfortunately (and this is where the not-great really kicks in), on the advice of some friends, the last time I PMed at the beginning of December and asked if there was ANY chance the kimono would be completed by Christmas, her response was a little less than polite. Lots of excuses as to why it wouldn't be (other commissions, real life problems, ect), and she told me she was tired of me of "hounding" her about it. My last PM to her before that was 3 weeks prior. I do not consider that hounding. Also, I understand about real life getting in the way, but as a paying customer who'd already PAID, I don't really care. My personal feelings are, if her life is so busy, she shouldn't take on SO much work all at the same time. It only makes it more difficult to get things completed in a timely manner.

Anyway, not going into greater detail than that, but in the end it unfortunately came down to me giving the ultimatum of either the kimono being finished by the end of the month, or I'd file a claim with paypal and demand a full refund. Honestly, I hated doing that but my boy has been sitting in his skivvies and ill-fitting borrowed clothes for long enough. I wanted my paid-for product. Thankfully, she came through and I now have it.

Now, the good: Despite me forcing her to hurry it up in the end, the kimono is amazing, very well-made, exactly what I asked for. It fits him perfectly. I'd include a picture except I haven't taken any yet. Just trust me that it's beautiful. It almost makes me feel bad that I was forced to get testy with her at the end there.

Anyway. If you want to commission an elaborate kimono for your doll, I honestly believe that Jisatsu is probably one of the most talented seamstresses on the board who can make them. Personally, simply because of how it ended in the last couple of weeks, I probably wouldn't order from her again, but that doesn't mean nobody else should. Just be forewarned that you'll have to pay entire cost beforehand. Also, I don't think she keeps fabric on-hand, as she'd had to order mine and have it shipped to her, which was an extra week of waiting time. And finally, be prepared to wait a very long wait to get the completed project. I wasn't prepared to wait that long for a single commission (multiple commissions, I'd have been a lot more understanding, but I've never even had to wait for an actual doll for that amount of time), thus the not-so-great part of my experience. But the kimono really IS gorgeous and is nearly worth all the hassle we both had to go through in the end to get the commission completed.

 

I commissioned Jisatsu for another faceup. As always communication was prompt and friendly, and she sent me pictures at each stage for approval before sealing. Her work is top notch and I hope to commission her again in the future. ^_^ Thanks again!! My crappy picture here does her work no justice.

 

Jisatsu ran a Luts GO and I was able to join even though I was a few hours late with my order! She was very professional throughout and kept us updated. She shipped as soon as Luts shipped our order (which was quickly) and days later I had my wig. Thank you ^^

 

Bought a pair of SD pants from Jisatsu. Everything went smoothly and she was very understanding when there was a delay with my payment. Shipping was quick and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her again!

I participated in a Soom GO by Jisatsu. The order was efficiently run, she provided lots of updates, and I got the package before I even got the shipping confirmation. I would definitely participate in another or buy from her otherwise!

Absolutely wonderful experience!

I had never commissioned a mod or face up before and considering that we were working from a very damaged head to begin with, I thought this was a lost cause. But Jisatsu took on the project and kept me informed the whole way through...every step.

I am not sure how she did it, but I am thrilled that I have such a unique and beautiful doll. I cannot wait to show pics of her.

I cannot say thank you enough to her and her amazing talents.

OH! And I cannot forget the head that I bought from her as well that she had already painted. Maid Mari would kill me if I forgot her. She is beautiful, too. But she already was. Kagami took lots of work to become that way.

This time we sent her a blank Soom rose fairy and told her...have fun. The results are so awesome. Little Minuette's fantasy faceup is gorgeous and so incredibly detailed on someone so very tiny!

Jisatsu has become 'our' faceup artist. My roommates and I simply plan to send all of our new dolls to her for work, eschewing even company faceups that we find attractive. She's just that good. Communication is great, she takes very good care of our dolls, and when they come home...they fit immediately into the family.

It is always a pleasure to work with Jisatsu.
