I bought a Volks Cristal Head from wally, she was very patient and accommodating with my requests when I decided I wanted to have the head shipped directly to the face-up artist, and hence had to delay the transaction for a couple of days. I just bought a Fairyland F60 Nanuri A from Wally, and overall it was a good transaction, but there were a few issues.

First off, the good. Communication was good and shipping was super fast. She arrived well-packed. Excellent transaction there.

Now, the not-so-great. Although the sales listing described her as being in "excellent condition", when I unpacked her, first thing I noticed was staining ALL over her body. The backs and sides of her legs and her feet were black. There were red splotches on her arms. There were a few flecks of something white, like paint spatter or something on her knee and elbow. Her head was also stained up. NONE of this had been disclosed in the sales listing, and there were no pictures to show it (only two pics showing the doll fully dressed). So I was shocked to find it, especially given the amount of money I'd paid for her (which I NEVER would have had I known the condition this body was in; I've paid less money for brand new F60 dolls).

I asked the seller about why this damage hadn't even been mentioned in her thread, and she said she'd been in a hurry to clean up the body and pack it, and hadn't noticed the excess stains remaining. She was very apologetic and offered me a full refund if I sent the doll back, and I appreciate that she didn't fight me on the subject or get defensive (as other sellers have done in the past).

This morning I sat down and scrubbed off the doll with a magic eraser and was able to remove the majority of the staining without damage to the blushing or faceup. She looks much better, and I've decided I want to keep. She's really very lovely, poses like a dream thanks to some glue sueding, and I'm much happier with her now.

So, everything worked out in the end. Just a cautionary tale to always ask for pictures of a doll when there aren't any clear shots shown in any sales thread.
