Here is hoping that someone will make the babies. They are too darn cute to not be made. There is a market for them and the Brownies.
Oh that is just so sad. Hopefully those that ordered will still get their dolls. Including ME! And from what I read they went bankrupt because they didn't charge enough for their dolls. I would have gladly paid more. I know that seems an odd thing to say, but I have always been of the mind set of paying for what the item cost to make at the very least. I am sure many of you would agree. So yeah I feel all guilty now because I somehow cheated them.
yah, i was wondering about that...how does a BJD company go bankrupt? was wondering about the cost issue, so i guess that's it. well, i rushed to email Karin, and she confirmed that all orders already placed would be filled. it's crazy, cause i've been wanting one for a while. but, yes, they never come up for adoption. and then when i went to one felix site it said they weren't taking any more orders! i freaked, but then i read here about the Ajumapama (?sp) site and rushed over and ordered there! and right in time, no less. i think like 3-5 days later they were no longer taking orders either.
costleyhobby, Sold my Frances just before Christmas and kind of regret it now. Wanted to pay for my LTF and thought heck I can get another Brownie later. So glad I decided to hold onto Ravi for a few months. Looks like she is not going anywhere now. Surely another company will buy the molds, price may have to go up but they really have a good product. Heck sell them naked........... MM
Well that's pretty much what happened to felix, they weren't charging enough.. But for the abby.. I'd pay mroe than they were charging that's for sure.

I'm so sorry to hear they are bankrupt. I hope that someone will buy the molds and make these delightful tinies again. I went to a dollhouse fair today and bought some amazing toys for Lana. And found this crib in a misc. box of odd sized things.
Valli who made the dress? It is very cute. Not that I have my doll...yet. Still holding out hope that Karin will get my doll for me!
