Female dolls, big boobs or small?

Definitely Small or Medium. As the OP mentioned--large just means painful in human terms, to me, so I'm not interested in seeing them in resin.

Both! I have extra big boobs (Luts type 3 body, 2DDoll body, Dollmore Glamor Model doll...) and small boobs (Spiritdoll Elegance, Dollstown Elf, Aprilstory 54cm...).
It depends of what I want for the character.

 

In general, I prefer smaller bust. But it depens on the character.
I imagined a character with a big bust, but I haven’t bought the doll yet

 

I'm more of a fan of smaller ones, larger breasts are like a curse to me and the women in my family, so smaller breasts are preferable and it's easier to dress smaller breasted dolls. However, depending on the character, the breast size may differ from my preference.

 

Yeah, small. I've had big tatas since I was pretty young, and I've just learned to hate the look of them. Either that, or just really envy women with flat chests. I think the "pear" body shape is super beautiful, but unfortunately I'm built the opposite way...

Honestly I prefer all my dolls to be completely flat, even the girls. That's why I like DC Carol so much.

 

I prefer dolls with small or medium bust. Because it is easier to sew and buy clothes for them.

 

Medium boobies please! Too big and the clothes won't fit. I want some boob, but not too much!

 

To me the size itself isn't the thing, the overall look is. I don't like huge balloon boobs that defy gravity even though they might simulate big bust squished in a bra which would make it look more natural when the doll is dressed. Though I'm not sure if it's actually the beauty standard lurking behind that bothers me. The big boobs are usually combined with a small waist, at least medium hips, long legs etc. and it gets boring after being repeated sculpt after sculpt while in real life there's a huge variety of unique bodies, all of them beautiful (derailing myself now lol). Usually the dolls that I like and have a larger bust, have floppier boobies when compared to the ones with the watermelon sort, I guess.

The one boob creature I have right now is on a DC kid body and has quite a small bust. It's really pretty.

 

Small, for me. The fitting seems much easier for clothing and the aesthetic I like does not jive well with extra large clown jugs.

 

I prefer dolls with a smaller bust because large bust dolls boobs are usually too cartoony. They tend to look like balloons. I would love if the bigger breasted dolls breast looked slightly more natural. So till then, I'll stick with the smaller chest.

 

I like a medium sized bust. Do not like that really large breasts as it just makes me think of how much their backs would hurt if they were real as I've had a friend and a niece who were/are both really large breasted and have seen the x-rays on how they actually are changing the shapes of their spines due to the weight. One has had a reduction (and is beyond happy with how much better she feels) and the other desperately wants one but can't afford it (even with insurance)

 

I prefer small. I agree with others that its easier to design clothes for. lol could be because mine are small, I might feel inferior if one of my dolls was more bless hahahaha.

 

I prefer both, really it's a matter of the character I have in mind. But as far as which I'd like more if I had a choice? I'd say a small medium bust. It's just aesthetically please.

 

I prefer small busts for dolls. Not sure why, as I have a pretty large bust myself.

 

I prefer small busts, or even meidium (if there's an option on an older looking doll).

 

Personally I prefer small busts on my own dolls and none of my dolls has any size bigger than small. But I like all bust sizes on other dolls, just not the extremely big ones, they look so uncomfortably to have.

 

I dont like the big boobs... Aldo my minifee has the,..big .
I like the more natural bust..but it seems a lot of compagnies make just round bulbs on there dolls..
Luckally more and more naturals are been made i think

 

I'm in a similar boat as OP: I'm heavy in the chest and when I see a doll with big ol' tatas, it kinda makes me cringe for their spine.
I prefer smaller chests on the girls by far, although I've been eyeing an impldoll body who looks like she can wear a heavy chest really well! I never expected to like the big bust size on a doll, but that muscular 64-70cm body is the rare exception!
