First Doll Indecision?

This was a big thing for me when I first was going to get a doll. First I wanted to get an MSD size, so i started looking around luts and dream of doll. I enjoyed the DOC line, and then Duncan was the first doll I saw. But as I kept looking around, and went to doll meetups I decided a SD size was more the way to go, then I stumbled upon Crobidoll.
I have to say Crobidoll makes a lot of people change their mind very quickly, and now my first guy is on the way. xD

 

oh my goodness, yes! i can't decide on what I want my 1st to be yet! all i know so far is i want a very asian-looking male :3

 

I feel that every-time I want a new one XD

Though the first one was the hardest and I decided to go with something completely different and totally not what I wanted to do :P
I went for a "practice" head and never got any of the dolls I thought of getting when I first joined XD

Ya! I just chose my first doll today, Hes a Kid Delf Boy ANI (Real Skin Normal). my bestest friend got me into them with her doll and now I want one ^_^ as soon as I have the money im goning to buy him.

 

I remember wanting a Volks Heath when I first got into BJDs, but since he's a limited edition and was completely sold out by then, I almost got a Luts El, but I eventually settled on a Hound.

 

I planned on Tender Too & Tender Bee-A. Then when it came on purchasing, I ended up getting a Bee-A. When I think back, I wonder how I'll treat her if she had tender eyes instead...

 

I went through company after company looking at dolls, but always found myself gravitating back towards my DM Dean. I suppose it was fate I was to have him, especially as they stopped production like 2 days after I ordered him! Anyone who says dolls don't choose their owners is foolish.

 

By advice is buy the doll you want. I bought the first doll I liked "enough" for the price I felt I wanted to pay. Now I wish I would have just bought the girl I wanted since I still do not own her but I have lots of girls I do own and love. I went though a lot of dolls to get my collection where it is. I tend to impulse buy, bad habit.

 

Well, I at least stayed within the same company -- at first I was interested in a MSD sized Romantic Lady Bee Elf from Peaks Woods -- but then I got hooked in by Val Zeitler's new Haute Doll clothing collection for SDs only and *poof* MSD Lady Bee is now SD Peaks Woods Sky who should be arriving within in the next couple or so weeks

 

Yes! Not only was I not sure on a company, but a size too. At first I wanted a BBB Mei, then KDF Ani, then several Fairyland MNF's, then a bunch of different Puki's, then MNF's again, but finally, I got a Pukifee Zoe!

 

Oh my God.
I was ridiculously indecisive.
First I was like. Kasi Dan. Then like. Boy or girl Vian. Then Souldoll Chiron. Then Kid Delf Bory, then Kid Delf Darae, then SSDF Regen, then SSDF Avalanche, then all of a sudden Delf Yder hits me and I'm like.
....*Hits the goddamn purchase button.*
I really like my decision. He's a well liked model, he's sweet, and precious, and big enough while not looking too serious.

Wellll~ Originally I wanted to get two at once, the AS couple package of Andrea and Cinderella, but I decided I couldn't afford it. And I went with the first one I saw on Ebay, which was IRONICALLY from the same company! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing after I discovered this. XD (this was also a revelation that Angell Studio owns my soul)

And then I joined DoA, found out I could get dolls second hand and almost got something else before getting AS Leira. (Who I'm still saving up for) Even though I got a DZ head, I don't count it as a whole first doll! >v<// Just my first head! LOL

 

This happend to me big time. I could not find one scuplt that was perfect. I knew I wanted a taller doll because I didnt want a small one and I wanted a boy. Also he was going to be a more quiet dark character.
I had it narrowed down to Crobidoll Yeon-ho / Nao or DOD Dot Ducan or Sha. Turns out none of those were perfect because everytime I would go to place the order I just couldn't do it. I knew they was a more perfect one for me out there.
So one day I'm searching around Dod website and am looking at the Doc's, that is when I saw Doc Si and he was perfect! I wasted no time buying him. He was the complet opposite of what I was looking for but I knew I had to have him.

 

To be honest... nope. I saw Yuu-2 from DollZone and fell instantly in love with it. I've been wanting for it for a few years until finally I put my foot down. I'm putting money away and paying it of now!

 

I was pretty set on buying AS-Leira the moment I saw her. However, I lost my decisiveness when I saw Iplehouse-I. I wavered back and forth for a few weeks before I realized just how much I loved AS-Leira's sculpt. I don't regret my decision in the least.

 

hmm for me, i think when i first say apollo from bobobie, i fell in love with his. i knew i have to get him as my first doll. been wanting him for over a year now.... but i still havent got my hands on him (or my first doll D

 

Decide on the gender first, then the size, then the character/ personality. I didn't have much trouble deciding. For me, Boys only. And I know for sure I only want 1/3 size. I wanted an "evil", crafty boy to be my first, and so after browsing through many sites, I decided upon AngellStudio's Lucifer (the eyes look "evil" to me. Haha~). He'll be coming to be soon, can't wait.

 

I'm in the process of picking out my first doll now. I didn't have quite as many problems with bouncing back and forth between companies, since I knew from the first moment I was introduced to bjds I wanted a luts doll (Though Volks' Minoru Kamimura has tempted me something bad in the past and recently).

Instead it was all about the molds. A few years ago I was dead set on an El, then more recently a Odin, until I finally settled on Avalanche after falling in love with his face sculpt. At the time I had also wanted a JDF Pluto, but couldn't come up with the funds in time. ;>

 

I have one girl on the way - I am thinking of naming her Isabella and I had been looking for a first BJD for at least 3 years. I know a very long time. Just did not find one until now. Then, an avalanche has arrived I just saw two more that I would love to have now.. I mean I am thinking about how to sell whatever to get these two more BJD's!

 

I'm fairly certain that I haven't posted here yet...soooo...

My answer: HECK YES. Lol. Not as much indecision as some who've posted yet more than others. :P First I wanted a Pukipuki Piki, then a Pukipuki Pong, and then I decided, hey wth let's go with MSDs, so I chose IH Ryan, then was wavering between him and IH Tatiana. Then I found the almighty Luts and I fell in love with my future boy.
