~For Those Who Own a Single Doll~

I have one doll, the ACB in my avatar! I just had to have her, before I even know what bjd, or Elfdoll or any of it really was.
So far, I haven't had that reaction again to any other doll. I still look at other dolls, and reasearch them when I really like what I see, but for now, all my funds are going into building a dollhouse, fully furnished, for Tinsley.

If I ever get another doll, I would prefer him/her to be something in the same scale as ACB and the dollhouse, so I could take advantage of all my hard work and take some awesome photos!!!

 

I love having my one girl, Rennie. She's an AoD Qian, and I just love her sculpt to bits and pieces. And now I'm biased towards AoD's female bodies. I love how curvy and lucious they are. I've had just her for almost a year now, and I have to admit while I dream about maybe having more dolls someday, I can't afford them and wont be able to for quite a while. I don't really have to worry about the jealousy thing, as they'll be her family. Her husband and her kids.

But yeah, this means I can spoil her more! I just bought her new eyes and some slippers because they were cute!

 

I have one at the moment I ordered my second one a week ago.
I would have stuck with just one but, I have a Lati yellow and he is so small
I looooove him to death but, oh my god I just can't stand how small he is.
I plan on one more after my second one [I think. Maybe. Idk.]
An SD sized doll I'm looking into.
I have a KDF Bory on the way who is close to MSD size.
I might re-sell my lati one day but, not anytime soon.
I really do not want more than two dolls the most I would dare to
have is three but, since my lati is so small it'll be like he isn't even there.
Omg I sound like such a jerk OTL;; I am TRYING to word this so it makes sense I am very
bad at typing out what I'm trying to say.

I have two; both Hounds but am considering selling the first one as he doesn't get the attention that the second one does. I am going to pull my first one apart and restring and clean him and refresh his faceup in the hopes that I bond more but if not he will move on to someone else who can treasure him like the way I treasure my second boy. And if he does move on I look foward to having one very spoiled only child... If not, then I will enjoy twins. I love the idea of having one; no face mold other than Soom's Bix and Volk's Yukinojo have drawn me to them like the older Dollshes so I'm ok with having no plans for new dolls.

 

I only have one doll, she is a kid delf bory from luts~ I received her about a month ago, so I am definitely a new doll owner!
But once I save up the money (I am not old enough to get a job yet ^^') I plan on getting a migidoll ryu!!

 

I have two (and a half) dolls now, but for five years, I only had one. I just didn't have the money for another, so I spent what little I had on things for Ichiiro. It was always easy going to meet-ups, haha; I only had to carry my mini boy!

… then I got to Japan and I got a good deal on Camui and an amazing deal on Aiden (paid $20 for a WS Juri 05 in perfect condition), so all of my self restraint disappeared.

 

I have had one doll for years, an Obitsu 60cm, I loved it! They are a brilliant doll to start with. Mainly I only had one because of the cost, but I think for that reason an Obitsu is the perfect doll to start off with as they are cheap, and you can buy different heads, hands, and even different chest parts for them, so it has been like owning a bunch of different dolls, even boy and girl dolls, all rolled into one. For example, here are some of the characters of my Obitsu.

Plus how many dolls could hold up a metal sword for an extended perio.....pretty awesome.

I'm about to get a BBB Lian soon though, so I hope I will like her as much, I'm worried because I know she won't be as versatile as my obitsu.

 

I don't have one yet. But I guess if I can resist all the temptations, I will succeed owning only a doll. I think it's fun to just have one doll with many clothes, wigs, accessories, furniture. But then again, let's see a more few years.

 

Well I am currently waiting on my first doll (market place rescue... just need a little more moneys and he's all miiiiiiiine!!! ) and chances are he will be my only one for a long while (I have no moneyyy...yaaaaaay!!) so I can spoil him rotten.

Methinks I will end up buying him a companion (boyfriend?...) at some point though...

 

I only have one doll, mainly because I'm fifteen years old and don't have a job : x
But I don't know if I'll buy more, I definitely have my eyes on a few, and I would love to have them, but I'm satisfied with my doll. I spend a lot of my money on stuff for him, and I feel really happy when I have some extra money and can spoil him. I don't think I'd have the patience to save up again, but then again... Even if I won the lottery I don't think I'd buy another one. Not right now at least.
I... I kind of feel like I don't have enough love and time for two, I guess. I knooow that they're dolls and don't actually require it, but as attached that I am to my Allis, hm I guess I just don't want to compromise that.

 

I only have one doll I just got him last tuesday. I love him dearly but i'm still thinking to get him 3 more companions. It's for my story actually.But, i'm just 16 years old and i don't have any job. I don't think that I have more patience to get another one at this age. Maybe if i won a lottery or any raffle promos. I'll get another one for him. But, if in some point my doll is going to eat all of money, i might not get another one.

 

I just put in an order for the head of my first doll a week or so ago. I believe she'll be my only one since I'm more interested in the creative part of this hobby (face-ups, modding, etc.) and one doll should be enough. Unless of course you count the super cheap practice heads I'll be using as lab rats.XD Also, my family would never let me live it down if I started getting doll-crazy.

 

Why do you only have/want one doll?
So far, that's all I have, but I do plan on getting another doll here soon. Probably a cat!

I own only one doll and it's going to stay that way for awhile because I do have other priorities to take care of this year. I love my doll even though I had kept her hidden away for about 2 years because I couldn't find clothes that I really liked for her to enjoy until recently. I just don't see myself trying to play with another doll. I'd rather just spoil one doll with clothes and things and photos of her just because i think it's easier for me to do.

I did have a slight urge to get another to give my ACB a companion (a Pipos Rooney) but eventually didn't give in.

I do want a bunch more dolls, and that will probably die out with a little bit of time and more looking.
I plan to have at least two more dolls by Christmas.
However, the doll I have now, I halfly had to beg for her. Almost didn't get her.
I'm an art student, so all my money should really go to school supplies and my newly acquired apartment rent. @_@
I'm also not allowed to really work at this point cause of tax reasons and such...

 

I only have my one right now. I'm planning on getting a second soonish -- though, in all honesty, all I need is a female body. Mostly so I can do fittings as I start to make female clothing. But really, I just want to start with one. better for pampering. ;^)
