I've been out of the hobby for a while, so when I logged back in here and saw my old list of dolls I own, I had an "oh yeah! I forgot I have two Felix Brownies!" They are in a display case in my daughter's room, so it's definitely an out of sight, out of mind thing for me!
Dang I wish I happened across a whole doll in my closet! Actually, that might end up being me with my DC William cause I don't have him on display and he lives in his pouch in the DC box in the closet. Give me a few years lol.
I am always pleasantly surprised when I pull out the box with all the extra hands and feet and lower legs and misc resin extra parts. There is so much in there! Over the years I have bought so many pairs of hands! But I forget I own them most of the time. I also forget about outfits after I get them. I don't like to open them right away, and it could be a year before the doll it's intended for finally changes clothing. So yeah, finding the fresh outfit in the drawer is kind of a bonus.
Immediately I was like "No. How could anyone forget they ordered and received a doll??" And then I remembered I have a doll hid under a blanket that I did actually forget about (apparently twice...). So yeah. It's a DZ Hermit, and the reason it's under a blanket is because it's totally blank, and I never really figured out what to do with it and since it's kind of a full body sculpt it'll be a lot of work. I intended to start working on it, but life and other dolls got in the way...and I forgot it was there. One day I moved the blanket and was like "Holy crap a doll!" Completely forgot I had it. It's still there. Under that same blanket. I'm hoping to get around to it someday...
