1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Friends2BMade clothes, Tons of pictures, great guide to fit! :)

Jan 6, 2006

    1. I don't think the Sweethearts clothes would fit any mini - the Sweethearts are very chubby and I think taller than the Friends. I searched for and posted the relative heights in this thread a while back. I think the Friends were 14 or 15 inches tall and the Sweethearts were 17 inches tall - 17 sounds great until you see how fat they are. You might be able to fit something of Sweethearts's on SD as a much shorter something.

      Here is a comparison:

    2. I waited until the skull tank was back in stock before ordering. ;) It's awesome! Though I'll probably take it in so it's more form-fitting.

    3. It they still show the photo of something they often get them back in stock! You just have to keep watching. The skull shirt was sold out when I wanted it too, then maybe the second time I looked after that it was back in stock! I have bought many of my items after they were out of stock then got more. So don't give up.

BTW - my favorite pieces are the robes in Sleepwear (so cuddly and soft), the white camisole (nice mixer), the black bubble skirt (stretch so nice fit, and goes with anything). I am also fond of the pieces they call boho.

    4. I have some of those, and they're pretty cute. They're slightly snug on SD (or Obitsu, as it were,) and a bit loose on my slim minis, so maybe they're be perfect on largers minis. Here's a few links to pics of some outfits on a 60cm Obitsu body.

    5. dang, flabit!!!! that skirts perfect for Becky!

    6. My LT Yern currently wears some Friends2BMade clothing. The skirts and tops fit lovely on her, but I can't say the same for the pants though :sweat . *needs to go back to the NYC store*

    7. They have some new shirts in. A girly version of the skull shirt and a little green shirt with a gryphon on it. Dammit all. I wasn't going to buy more clothes! But I couldn't resist.

    8. Well, the Dragonfly jean skirt does NOT fit Unoa, at all. -_- It won't go around the hips, and it looks just plain stupid at the waist.
So either it won't fit, or when it does fit, it looks like a hooker-mini with too much fabric at the top. X_x

Oh well, everything else fit, very well in fact.
I even got the Black Lace and Handkercheif skirts to fit well, they won't fit on the Unoa's hips when you first try to put them on, but after you set them at the waist you can slide them down for a slightly snug but otherwise perfect fit. ^^

All of the tops fit, some a little loose but nothing I was bothered enough to alter. =3

    9. Aw crap. More shopping! ;)

    10. Sorry? Um... yeah... not really ;) You must all suffer the f2bm curse with me!!! Mwaahaahaaaaa!:mwahaha

    11. I just love the bright purple shoes, where did you get them?

    12. Some people have local Build-a-Bear stores that also carry the "Friends" doll clothes.

But in the US the rest of us use the website (no international shipping):

      http://friends2Bmade.com

In the Shopping menu, go to the "Friends2BMade Dolls and Accessories" section (not the Sweethearts)

Just remember fit varies, slacks only work on some minis, headgear and footgear will not work.

    13. It looks like they've updated the site. I see some new outfits and shirts.

    14. They do ship internationally (well, to Canada anyway) but it's very expensive. 19 items cost $20 to ship, and 20 cost $40. Ridiculous!

    15. I hope I don't like the new things - I have so much already! My girl's special favorite is still the robe. So soft.

Re skirts - I find the fit of skirts with thick (like denim) wide non-stretch waistbands to be iffy. Because the clothes are made for waistless hipless rag dolls, these waistbands can gap out at the top on a BJD body. I have not really had problems with thin cloth skirts or stretch skirts.

Re shipping - Occasionally international people try to get together a group order and some (US?) person orders the items then forwards them to the buyers. Hopefully customs charges don't hit you though. One other note to all about shipping - adding items larger than clothes can really infalte your shipping because they have to use a box and maybe ship a different way. The clothes are normally shipped in a bag (in the US).

    16. They do ship internationally too! I have ordered from the twice... The shipping was $25, so it's kind of expensive. But you can order from them. :)

    17. Occasionally people do group orders. If you're international I would suggest finding someone in the USA to do a group order for you or get a really big group order for your area, I imagine it would be cheaper that way...

    18. I'm sorry if this is already posted here, but does anyone know who the denim fits? Like, DOD but not MNF? Etc.

    19. What item in denim??? Exactly - do you have a link to it?

And if you are asking about pants, I own neither of those dolls but if you search back in the thread I know there are some MNF pictures and I think DOD also.

If you are asking about skirts, it probably depends on the skirt. Some seem to be wider than others, and some dolls can deal with wide stiff waistbands and some cannot. It depends on where that skirt lands on their hips or just above.

    20. The F2BM store in the mall has two boys outfits, I didn't buy them because I wasn't sure the pants would fit my DZ mini. Does anyone have pics of MSD guys wearing the F2BM boy clothes? If they fit, I'm so going back for them. :)
