1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Friends2BMade clothes, Tons of pictures, great guide to fit! :)

Jan 6, 2006

    1. Does anyone know how well the $10 blue lace dress fits on Unoa? Or any slim mini for that mater.

    2. Use the "Search This Thread" feature while in this thread and search for 4-letter or greater words or pattern matches like boy*

boy* pulled up some stuff and I happened to spot:
"I have tried the pants I have on my Kid Delf and Volks boy and they fit them!"

I doubt if the pants will be anywear near long enough for a DZ boy, but sometimes they fits minis with short legs. Try searching anyway - I know there is a Dollzone girl in this thread. Not sure about a guy. And if a doll's hips are too big they won;t work, and they are almost always baggy.

You can also search the Galleries only for: Dollzone F2BM
And try searches substituting DZ* for dollzone and friends2bmade for F2BM

    3. I don't recognize the 2-pc blue lace dress but I haven't looked for weeks.

One thing about small defined breast areas in some F2BM styles - sometimes they are pretty flat inside and may be padded (F2BM dolls are immature). If the height isn't adjustable (fixed length straps), the breast area may not land where your BJD's breasts are, and if your doll has large breasts they sometimes fit oddly (but some fit cute and revealing).

That one looks strapless so it might work, and even though it looks like non-stretch it may fit around (or you could extrend the back opening). If nobody has purchased it yet, the fit is a bit of a mystery.

    4. Thanks for the info, I think I'll wait until someone has bought it though. :sweat I can't afford to buy more clothes that don't fit. The cute denim dragonfly skirt was the only mistake I'll make.

    5. Carolyn--- I was specifically asking about the pants. I (will soon) have a DOC old body Bee-A and a MNF Soo. I know the types are slightly different, so does anyone know how the pants fit on both?

I saw some pics of the MNF Lishe wearing the pants, so I know they fit, but the DOC?

    6. I've put together a little database of F2BM clothing. I'm going to run thru the thread and pull together info of what fits/doesn't fit which doll, but if anyone wants to contribute, you're welcome to PM me here.

    7. Wow, what a fantastic idea! Great resource Usagi :)

    8. Well I will say that I have one of the terry robes and I cannot see what any of them would not fit any mini. It fits my Narae, has roomy sleeves, and a wrap front tied with a silky sash. There really isn't anything to cause a fit problem.

French Ruffles outfit page 1 fits Narae.

Bra from a polkadot bra and panties set did't fit Narae - straps were fixed length and too short, and the bra was padded. Might work on some others. Panties I got were tight and boy-cut on Narae.

I have seen the Overall Dress fit Narae really nicely but short. I saw it worn over a striped shirt and capri leggings and it was adorable that way.

Black bubble skirt fits Narae but it is as stretch skirt, and all stretch skirts should fit most minis (in my opinion).

White Cami on Page 3 of Tops fir Narae too.

Pink Sweater on page 3 of tops fits Narae.

Black legging (not sure which) were tight to get over my narae's thighs, but fit tightly.

Some notes - there are lots of photos on the pages of this thread showing lots of identified dolls wearing the clothes and comments on what fit. That is what this thread is for. It would be best if you filled in the database with the stuff we have already posted?

BTW - your How to contribute link is broken, and some last pages are missing their last photo.

      Great idea though!

      Carolyn

    9. That's what I'm doing right now, but I wanted to at least post the link.

Fixed the link, and the last section on a lot of the pages are place holders for new items when they come out. It makes it easier on me later, since I hate coding with a passion.

    10. One other note about shirts - "long" sleeves are usually wide and 1/2 to 3/4 length on a BJD. That is across the line. When I but a shirt with long sleeves I do not expect them to fit tight or reach the wrist. I only buy "long" sleeve pieces that I think will look fine as 3/4 loose sleeves.

    11. Usagi-- I should be able to help out with the database once i get my DOC. i'm also waiting on a CP MNF, and have TONS of F2BM stuff waiting.

    12. I'm planning to go to a F2BM store sometime in then next week or two with a Petite Ai, so I'll come back and report what does and doesn't fit them. I was wondering how they package things? Are they packages where I couldn't try them on my doll in the store, or kind of like the build-a-bear things where they're just sitting out so you can try them on? If they are packaged where you can't try them on, can you return them after the package has been opened? I was thinking about buying anything I like that can't be tried on in the store, taking it out into the mall, opening it up, trying it on, and returning it if it doesn't fit. Would that work? I'll be sure to write down everything I try on my doll and if it doesn't fit, I'll post back here so no one with a Petite Ai will buy things that don't fit.

    13. Good idea! White corduroy bow skirt fits MNF girl. Sorry that's all I could contribute. XD

    14. _mouse_--- I've heard from several people that the F2BM people are really friendly and are very curious about our dolls. I'm not sure if that's how it will be in Baltimore, but that's what it's like at the NYC store.

Lol, just so you know, I'm actually going to be in your area in two weeks :)

    15. Shweeeettttt I'm bring her with me for sure.... and as for the being in the Baltimore area, meet-up much? PMed you!

    16. The F2B pants generally don't fit the MSD's. Too short for one thing!

    18. I am getting a new Kid Delf Girl and MOST if not all her clothing is Friends2bMade stuff. I will try them on when she arrives, whenever that will be, and post pictures.

    19. Has anyone tried removing the velcro from the back of the shirts and sewing them closed? I know that would mean having to remove the head to put it on, but I think it would look a lot better.

    20. The velcro isn't very visible for most of the shirts that I got, if you close it properly. I'd like to take the stuff in, rather than take the velcro off, personally.
