1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Friends2BMade clothes, Tons of pictures, great guide to fit! :)

Jan 6, 2006

    1. *shrug* I'm a bit weird about shirts, I don't really like any doll tee shirts that have velcro/snaps/whatever in the back because none of my tee shirts do, so why would my doll's? I'll try it after I go and post my results :). I also might take the velcro off the pants and put snaps in, but maybe not. I'm just kind of weird about doll clothes, I don't mind if dresses have velcro, but that's about all I can stand.

    2. I think you could take it out with patience. They usually use thread that matches the item so I never saw the stitching (and I am at work now so I cannot look) but it may be hard to see on dark colors. I don't think they use glue.

The reason I like the velcro is because it means no friction and wear on the faceup, no chance of messing up the lashes, etc. And I don't photograph the backs of my dolls so the velcro does not matter.

    3. RE: Well, then how do you close their T-Shirts, or do you not use T-Shirts on your dollfies at all? Just curious.

    4. I have the backs sewn up and remove the head to put them on... It's just one of my idiosyncrasies that I hate having tee shirts that need to be snapped/velcrod in the back

    5. Hi

Thats great!! I would help but it looks like you already have someone trying clothes on a DM torrie girl. Which means I can buy somethings off the site without worrying. I'll check around to see if I have any clothes not tested yet.

one question do the tights have velcro openings or are they just pull on?

      Thanks!

    6. I haven't seen the tights (you mean there are ones with feet?), but the black and the white lace leggings are pull on.

      Carolyn

    7. yes I meant leggings I'm glad they are pull on. I know their pants can have velcro along the back.

    8. I should say to the best of my memory they are pullon - my doll clothes are so mixed up right now I can't find them easily.

      Carolyn

    9. I was *just* at the store-- there are tons of thing there that aren't on the site, including a DOUBLE bed!!

the leggings are indeed pull ups.

    10. RE: I'm sorry I asked. *lol*

    11. I would have loved to have seen a bed at the store we visited. They only had girls and clothing sets so nothing for boys. I did pick up the Hello Kitty pjs for Shindo, as he is a big pink fan. (Naturally! - he's a mnf Shiwoo elf AND based on an a/u Shindo Shuichi [from Gravitation]) I liked the soft sculpture car they had. It looked like minis could sit in it but I didn't try it out. If I HAD, I would have wanted it! *laugh*

I got two fabric and wood deck sling chairs that aren't on their Build-a-Bear site - one red and one hot pink. Two minis sit in one chair pretty well. I had a DZ and a mnf with me at the time and three workers stopped and commented on how cute they were.

    12. Yeah I was talking to the woman who was leading my party and she said she's seen people with the dolls before.

I'm just excited that I'm getting a F2BM gift certificate from my brother! *squee*

    13. Now I'm wanting more furniture for Llana (and, of course, clothes). XD Which store did you go to? The one in Northpark, the one in Grapevine Mills, the one in The Galleria, or is there one I don't know about? I think I remember seeing some of the boys' stuff at the store in Northpark Mall, but that was awhile ago.

    15. has anyone tried like the glasses on msd dolls? i'm sure with the hats not fitting due to the head size that they won't fit, but can't hurt to ask.

I work in the corporate office for Wacky Bear factory, i'll have to try our clothes onto my DZ once i get her. some should fit, even if i have to alter the outfit myself. we have a few dresses i would love to get my future Keya. But i will try to get pictures/status of what clothes fit the doll i have and what has to be altered. they can't be too much different than the F2BM sizing. Which they have some really cute clothes i'll have to definatly get some of theirs :O

    16. Dollzone Tintan in some of the clothes. The panties fit like bikinis and the pants are low riders. Some of the skirts were actually too wide and would need altering. The bedding is F2BM too.

    17. Wonder why they don't list all this stuff on the website? There are a LOT of us living hours and hours away from a store who'll never see this stuff.

    18. that's why i can't wait to get my girl and try WB's clothes on. we put every item we have on our website xD i hate how BB doesn't have all that on there some of the pictures i've seen on this thread on their site. it's like walmart. every store is different. some items one carries, another doesn't @_@

    19. All of the stuff is on the site, it's just not always available. Once the item sells out, they take it off the listing, but it's still on the site in case it comes back out again. I've seen several items relisted. I'm working on redoing my database to include everything, include sold out items.

Also, I took my daughter to Build a Bear today and they're having a deal where you can buy a $5 gift card, and get $5 free. I didn't ask if you could increase the amount since we were already spending $65, but that's a great way to have extra doll clothes money in the future. So anyone who's near a BaB, you might want to stop in and take advantage of this!

    20. First off, lovely clothes.:love Pardon my ignorance as I'm new to the world of BJD's, but will the F2BM clothes really fit the MSD sized dolls? The site claims that their clothes only fit their dolls, and I would love to place an order for my "kid". The prices are very reasonable and whadda selection!:?
