Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. I was wondering if they would all look really alike with the default face up, but no, they look related, but so different. I love the light eyes your guy has (and I hope Andreas doesn't see that necklace or he will be jealous and make me buy him some jewelry!)

      Did you see the database I started for our Red Star Men? Please do add Kit to it. I am hoping to see many Antares's there.

He humored me by letting me take some pictures. He looks fierce cuz he is a Scorpio, but he is really such a sweetie ....

      A quick question for you guys: has anyone ever tried Ipple's SID clothes on a male MA? I mean jackets and trousers, tailored garments.

      Result:
      Iple shirt and jeans:
      The sleeves are a little short, though not a problem when rolled up or short-sleeved. Fits well across the shoulders and chest. A little short in length for me, but not bad.
      Same fit for the leather SID jacket: ....that is no longer up on the site. Sorry.
      The jeans however, are a mile and a half short, and a little big. The hip balls are all that keeps the pants from falling off, and Mecha thighs are tiny in comparison to SID's. Even pulled down to the hip balls, the jeans are still an inch or more short. So unless you have tall boots...

    11. Hi there Katyok! I have put the EID leather outfit and and shirts on my Corvi and Rex and they fit great. Pants are a tad short but with the leathers I use boots. Haven't tried other EID pants on them yet. Fayed, my Corvi, is currently wearing Dollmore Glamour Model leather pants and Angelo's suit is also Dollmore Glamour Model. Andreas was wearing the pants from the fullset outfit. When I ordered Vega in April, the Soom Mecha angel jeans were available again, the plain dark ones. These guys have looooong legs, don't they? I haven't tried the Freedom Teller Jackets or coat on them yet. When I do I will post a picture and report!

    14. Has anyone tried human Mega Gem hands on a Mecha Angel guy? Since they have them up for sale this month I was thinking that they might be a good choice for some slightly more proportionate hands. I know the wrist ball is larger, but that's easy to change. My concern is more that the hands will look silly on the ends of those skinny skinny arms.

    17. When did Soom start making the newer arms on the Mecha Men? I put Ender up next to Andreas (Antares) to check out the hand size, and there didn't seem to be too much of a difference - also Andreas' arms didn't appear to be this thin. I wonder if the newer hands are larger? I am too lazy to check out Angelo (Rex) cuz he is in another room fooling around with his girlfriend. Be interesting to compare his arms and hands to the new guy's.

      I hope they don't come out with another Mecha very soon. How about a Tan, Tawny or Bronze guy sometime in 2013?? Like after tax refunds?

    18. Hmmm... a couple years ago, I think it was. The 'beefier' arms are only very slightly so. Only folks that had bought their Mechas direct from Soom could exchange the skinnier arms for the beefier ones. I got my boy second hand, so was stuck with the skinny version. Which after getting that suit tailored to fit it, I'm just fine with. ;)

      Yes, after next year's tax refunds sounds like good timing to me!

    19. I believe the Vega Last Song merman was the first appearance of the "thicker" arms... what was that, 2008? And I emphasize those quotes... because unless you have a pair of the old arms to hold next to them, you would NEVER guess that these long skinny things are the "thicker" version of anything! ^^ But, I did once compare my Vega side-by-side IRL with Idrisfynn's Corvi, and indeed the arms are a tad thicker. Still, it's academic, I mean, all of these dudes could be arm-wrestled into submission by a JID.

      As for the question of pants, I am totally useless because the Big Fish does not do pants. :XD: Saves me SO much money and headache.

      (Notice the massive upper arm muscles. Yeah. xD I would have to dig out his humanoid forearm-parts in order to compare them with the skinnier version, to see if they're thicker too; I think they might be. But these fin-arms, can't really tell.)
