Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Indeed, the Merman Vega was the first to have the thicker arms. We traded up to the thicker arms when the opportunity was presented, so idrisfynn's Corvi does have them now. The hands have always been the same size. Dunno about those MegaGem hands, kinda makes him look like a flyswatter. >.>

    3. Hi guys I have a question that has probably been answered many times, however, I can't remember the answer: those little capsule goodies that go in behind the knees? Do they really work or do they fall out? My new guy really has the twisty-leg and backward buckling leg problem, but I don't see how those little gizmos can just stay in there. And here is the culprit that made me ask this question (he doesn't have a name yet becuz he just arrived and we have had a few, ummm, disagreements but I think he will stay):

      It's sort of like that song "I've grown accustomed to your face" - I can't see parting with him now that he is together and pretty much has found his look. I kinda like the default face up more and more. And wow did Soom excel in speedy delivery! I ordered him first day of April FFD and he arrived yesterday! Isn't that unusual? (and in case I hadn't mentioned it for anyone looking for specific Mechas, he is a Vega. Hope he decides on a name soon!)

      Love your new man! His wig looks so nice and soft! He looks sweet, but his smile says he has a bit of fire!
      Congrats on getting him so fast! I'm still waiting for my Antares... it's been over a month now since I finished up the three month lay away. I can hear him smirking from here - making me wait on him. He's going to take his sweet@$$ time....

      To answer your question, the pegs help when trying to stand them or sit them up, even if they don't do the best job sometimes. And they do fall out(in my Elf Sabik's pants, mind you), so I have to go digging. XDD


      I can't wait to see some more Antares. I'm getting close to really wanting one. He looks a lot like a Sabik. :aheartbea I love his lips. >w<

    7. I got tired of the pegs falling out, so I just put a tiny dab of hot glue in the hole and stuck the peg in. They've been fine ever since~ :)

    8. I did that too, hot-glued the pegs into the top of the thigh. I think they are very helpful for holding the legs in a solid position.

    9. Good morning! New guy has name: Dominique! It is a unisex name, which can be convenient for costume purposes, but I gotta say that despite the pretty face he is a very dominating male, no question! I lost the "who is Alpha around here" contest, lol! It is really to my best interests not to get into an argument with him - just give in!

      aernath: Dominique thanks you for the compliment! For one so new to having his picture taken he totally got into it, maybe it was the undivided attention. He kinda surprised me - I had planned for him to be my Andrej Pejic, a girly-man, but OMG he is quite opinionated and very male. I hope your Antares arrives quickly and surprises you, like this guy surprised me!

      carmen171 I can hardly wait to see your Antares! Will be checking these pages eagerly to see how you have styled him. His sculpt is fascinating and he has such presence!

      YukiOokami: Dominique thanks you for commenting. Yes, his intriguing grin, a Mona Lisa smile or a Cheshire Cat without the teeth. Sorta like he knows everyone's secrets ... he is one to watch out for!

      Dream_of_Isis: That is what I was afraid of, the pegs falling out, and I don't wanna glue them because I like to have my dolls sitting in some photos, or just around the house. So that won't work. My Rex came with heavy wiring from previous owner - that helps a tad, but I am afraid that if I try to seat him the heavy wire might chip the resin. I guess that there is no real solution - just gotta live with it. It would be nice if Soom could improve on the Mecha engineering a tad without going into a totally different body where we would have to buy all new clothes!

    10. Tangier, you only glue them on one end. In the one hole at the top of the leg. The legs are still free to move and position for stands, sits, etc. by merely moving the top of the peg into the different holes in the hip socket. If anything, it's easier to sit them because you can pull out the leg and click it into a specific position.

    12. People with lanky arms & huge hands often do end up with that Flyswatter look when they go sleeveless. I am one of those people. :| Wait, suddenly I want a pair of Mega Gem fin-hands for my merman so he can be just yea much more like me. xD

      And I'm with aernath-- any doll who could swat flies for me, would definitely get a seat of honor in the house!

      Congrats on Tangiers's new Vega, too! What a beauty! That enigmatic half-smile is every bit as gorgeous in human form as it is in fish form. :chocoheart

    16. I dont know if someone can help me but I ask anyway, I absolutely love my Sabik but I hate his body so someone know on wich body this head will fit? 70-75cm body?

    17. I have yet to see any male Mecha Angel head look good on a smaller body, but some of us are hoping that the Immortality of Soul Class 80 body will work. The first guy from this new type hasn't shipped yet, so it's all speculation at this point. Plus, IoS doesn't sell bodies separately, so this means the limiteds will have to be cannibalized.

    19. I really prefer a 70cm body so he can share clothes with my other dolls and fit with them better, now he is just to big.
      May be a spiritdoll proud will fit?
